Backend work isn’t really meant to be “seen” like UI, it’s meant to be used. So instead of screenshots, the proof is in things like: • APIs that actually work (people can hit your endpoints and get real responses) • Clean, well-structured code on GitHub • Proper database design and relationships • Features like auth, CRUD, roles, etc. • Good documentation (so someone else can understand and test it) Most backend devs share: • GitHub repos • API docs (like Swagger) • Postman collections • Sometimes a live link to test the API So the “portfolio” is basically: Can someone use your system and see that it works? That’s the real proof.
