A delightful talk with @TheEconomist . Innovation often looks impossible — until it isn't. XPENG builds humanoid robots, flying cars, and smarter vehicles on the same belief: If no one has done it differently, we will.

Chinese software-entrepreneur-turned-EV-darling @xiaopenghexpeng has a nose for the next big thing. His humanoids, flying cars and robotaxis are now revving up for mass production after years of R&D. For @TheEconomist, I spoke with him about his AI gamble economist.com/china/2026/05/…

Tesla owners in the Netherlands have now driven over 15 million km (9.32 million miles) on FSD Supervised since the rollout began 39 days ago. That's an average of 239,000 miles per day (384,000 km). Globally, Tesla owners have now driven nearly 10.5 billion miles on FSD (Supervised). evwire.com/p/tesla-fsd-su…

Mainstream media review from the @Independent after trying Tesla's FSD (Supervised) in the Netherlands: "The car behaved impeccably. And it’s so simple to use. What’s most remarkable is how unremarkable it all is. The car accelerates with confidence – not super-speedy but a very natural acceleration – and it corners smoothly. The car will overtake when it needs to (I was always checking the mirrors, just in case) and on occasions, it even swapped lanes approaching traffic lights when it spotted an advantage to be had – just as I would. And around the busy streets of the city centre, the car’s ability to spot every single hazard and react accordingly, was hugely impressive. Had I not been using FSD, I may have been a little more strident in squeezing between pedestrians and cycles, but the impeccably mannered Model Y always gave these more vulnerable road users the benefit of the doubt. The way the car turned sharply and cruised down narrow, cobbled streets – judging its width more confidently than I might in certain situations – was impressive, too. As was the fact that the hundreds of people we passed on Amsterdam’s streets seemed to have no idea that it was the car doing the driving – although there was the odd double-take when they realised my hands weren’t on the steering wheel. I’d highly recommend that you just give it a go – and I say the same about electric cars: try it, you might just like it." Great to see some mainstream media giving FSD a fair go.
Tesla@Tesla

Following future rollout of FSD V14 Lite for HW3 vehicles in the US, we plan on expanding V14 Lite to additional international markets. This update ensures that HW3 vehicle owners will continue to benefit from ongoing software updates. Since international rollout is subject to several factors (completion of technical verification, regional adaptation & relevant regulatory approvals), we can't provide definitive dates at the moment, but will provide updates on a rolling basis

This week we're demonstrating our electric air taxi over New York City. Behind every flight is a question regulators, controllers, and the public are right to ask: how does this work alongside legacy traffic in the world's busiest airspace? In a new post, our Airspace Engineer Eric Mueller shares how we've been building the answer for years, alongside the @FAANews, @NASA, @NATCA, @USDOT and airport authorities. The blog covers: - Why high-tempo vertical lift operations already have strong operational precedent. - What our acquisition of @flybladenow's passenger business taught us about moving tens of thousands of passengers through complex urban airspace. - How human-in-the-loop simulations at the FAA's William J. Hughes Technical Center tested vertiport configurations at Orlando International Airport. - How this work translates into the FAA's eVTOL Integration Pilot Program, where Joby is an industry partner. Tesla FSD brakes for an invisible van 👀 Just two guys casually talking while being driven around by FSD.. we thought: HUH?! Why would it stop, ah ofcourse FSD already saw what two Human Pilots failed to recognize. A wild invisible van appeared FSD didn’t even blink & said: hold my beer @robotinreallife

Hello, New York City. 🗽 Over the next week, our electric air taxi will showcase a quieter, cleaner, faster way to move through New York, in partnership with the @PANYNJ, @NYCEDC, and @FAANews. The first ever point-to-point eVTOL flights in New York's history, connecting JFK to Manhattan's heliport network in minutes, demonstrate how we intend to integrate with the region's existing infrastructure. Our vision for New York is simple: make getting to the airport — one of the city's most daunting experiences — one of its best, through partnerships with @Delta and @Uber that connect ground transportation and air travel in a single, seamless journey.
