This is why US imported BLM discourse never made sense here. I don’t doubt there is the odd anti black racism that goes on here but we never had that history of slavery/segregation like America did.

Students in the Ozoro/Delta State University are panicking as the festival will still continue today - and more boys/men are planning to harass more girls/women even going to their hostels to look for them!! This is all beyond disturbing - it is a mass coordinated crime. This is organised sexual violence, and it must be treated as such. Foreigners who are unaware of this situation have reportedly fallen victim as well.
