@notJohnDenver If you would have been covering Rob for more than just the last couple weeks you’d know that he is always giving back to the community. This is just who he is. Genuine good guy. You can disagree with his policies but to question his character is weird.

Almost every history class covering the Great Depression claims Hoover caused it because he was a "non-interventionist" (he was definitely not) and FDR made it better with the New Deal (which majorly prolonged it). They also conveniently almost never mention the Federal Reserve.

@IStateCRs And this is based off of what evidence? Because you could argue that is slowed recovery in some instances but to say it made the economy worse is patently false.

@PintsNDiplomacy The depression was coming from a mile away because of malinvestments encouraged by the Fed. Instead of allowing the market to adjust, the New Deal encouraged the continued misallocation of resources.

@Maxwell_pringle Implementing the PIE program to help save the Government. A program that was adopted by a few Republican states. The auditor isn’t in charge of checking the qualifications of an Iowa Superintendent. They audit the finances. You have to know this right?

The Lotto Scam was Rob Sand’s career high water mark. He has lived on that one success ever since without ever doing anything else for Iowans. He couldn’t even find issues with the DMPS superintendent until the guy was arrested for being an illegal and running from the cops.
