The World Cup begins tomorrow, and many will watch the matches. Soccer reminds us of something we must not forget: life is not a race to show off on our own, but a path we learn to walk together. Key Plays is a feature that is seemingly so simple on the outside, but has a lot going on just under the surface. So I broke down 1) How it likely works 2) How they measure its impact and 3) What streamers might do next with the product.

What do you think about FIFA's logo requirement? Do you like the consistency or would you rather see the host nation(s) design whatever they want?

We see this elsewhere in sports too. The NFL created brand guidelines for the Super Bowl in 2011. For about 10 years, the logo felt like a copy+paste lifeless template. But over the last few games we've been treated to slightly more creative interpretations.
