@BaileyCarlin I’m going to be obnoxious here: As an educator, I believe audiobooks are reading. They provide equal access to books and we get hung up on the semantics of “read” rather than the idea of consuming the content/piece. Now, if someone were to argue the literal definition then 🤷‍♂️

My daughter missed school on Friday so we could make memories together. Because I didn't lie to the school and say she was sick, she has to take a 0 on a test that brought her grade down. I was told "next time just say she is sick" I don't understand what's happening. When did we decide that values and family time are not acceptable.

@Fire5280 I’m really proud to vote for Kamala. I may not agree on all of her stances, but as a parent to two young daughters, my hope is that they one day recognize their father chose the candidate who actively supported women and didnt denigrating them.

Both presidential candidates have policy ideas that I don't agree with, that I don't think will work as intended, or that I think will be inflationary. But only one candidate is a convicted felon. Only one candidate has a history of sexual assault. Only one candidate has encouraged violence for political means. Only one candidate is fueled by spite and retribution. Only one candidate admires authoritarian strongmen. Only one candidate can be blamed for making it harder for women to make their own decisions about their own body. Only one candidate has pledged to pardon individuals who brutally assaulted police. Only one candidate has no clue how tariffs work. Only one candidate had a close friendship with Jeffrey Epstein. Only one candidate believes the emoluments clause can be completely ignored. Only one candidate thinks the U.S. military is a tool that can be used against Americans that they don't agree with. Only one candidate values loyalty over expertise. Only one candidate is showing clear signs that their advanced age is impacting their cognitive ability. So like most Americans, I can't say that I am super excited about either option, but for me... the choice is clear.
