It's so hard to convince Editors about a browser based video editor. tbh the features I had in Subclip Web, if I had them in a Desktop App, it would have taken off a long time ago. But if I had a desktop app, I wouldn't have shipped that faster. Building Web App gives more room to experiment. And for now that's super important to me.

You're missing one variable, I don't have faceless AI video generation. that means my ICP aren't in volume. Even if they are, since there is no volume of work for them, they won't pay :) The sweet point are Editors imo. Editors who wants to save time (especially rough cut, ai clipping) are willing to pay and there is a decent volume for those. Which means more probability to be sold. Because they do final polish themselves. or the Second ICP could be businesses (which is challenging at this stage, as Veed, Opus Pro and Overlap AI do it) This is all considering that I don't have Faceless AI Video generation. As my old workflow was all about using raw clips and talking head videos. for Revid[ai] Desktop App/Web App won't make much difference because there ICP is someone who don't want to edit much and do AI video generation for faceless channel.

@ProSamik editors aren't our ICP brother ... our ICP is people who don't want to pay for editors / don't want to edit

@onlinedopamine youtube won't, and it will bring traffic even after years, it's the best place to post

I am so proud of myself, lol Exported from Subclip and imported inside DaVinci This is the thing which I wanted from Day 1, but I always thought this was super hard (indeed it is), it took a lot of iterations to arrive at this point. It now supports Video, Image and Audio. (Texts are converted to image)

Nothing, but reading fcp xml outputs to reverse engineer the solution.

I think it is time I should build something for Editors as well Trimming and Sequencing is easy imo for starting. For now it works for video and images in a multi-track sequence I made FCP XML file from the workspace of Subclip
