We're funding free school meals for those most in need during half term.
Each child that currently receives free school meals will be eligible for £15/week to support them while school is closed. Parents & carers can apply from 26/10

@LondonHoskins @LBofHavering Of course online retail is MORE profitable but it doesn’t mean they can’t do both: many shoppers that did support @SwanBooks & shop in #Upminster have stopped doing so due to parking charges: its the final nail in the coffin. Lakeside and Amazon are the winners here.

@ProtectHavering @LBofHavering It's not closed coz of parking charges. Its in a large residential area & has a busy park & library opposite. It's closed coz local #upminster people didn't bother 2 use it. The owners r selling books online instead of keeping shop open coz it's financially more beneficial 2 them
