@silverlock "Comes Great Responisibility. Thank you, you can go back to your comics" "ummm...can we ..." "Yeah, this afternoon. This one is one me" And thus, without realizing it, I shut down the other mom and her dislike of reading non-book 4/

@silverlock Mom eventually stopped me. (She knew I could discuss this ALL day. #WeirdKid) To the other Mom, she said "He just talked about engineering, physics, literature, classical mythology, race religions, segregation, and... what is it Spider-man says?" "With Great Power..." 3/

When I was young, I loved the issues of Marvel Universe in the 80s. It was cool to see all of the information on the Hero’s, Villains, gadgets, and bases.

@DougWahl1 Problem is, I am not sure what it is trying to distract from? Epstein? Iran War? Falling figures? A J Edgar Boozer? A staged assassination attempt? A president in such poor health, he falls down and has to crawl / carry when his life is "threatened"?

Lovable Liberal and his Old English sheepdog
HOW LONG DID IT TAKE? According to Kash Patel the investigation into James Comey’s seashell post took "9, 10, 11 months. These cases take time. Our investigators work methodically." Your Thoughts?

Trump is so disrespectful. He literally cut in front of Queen Camilla while she was shaking hands. Every day is another embarrassment for our country.

@ErrorGramatica Now, image being this person's child. For the rest of their lives, there exist a video of how their mother was happy to get them, but expressed great disappointment that she wasnt getting any of the money she was wanting. Kid, you were an income source for her.

@TheCinesthetic I watched this with my parents, when it came out. I am not sure who was laughing more - Mom or Dad. (They had a rental company as a side business, and it always seemed like SOMETHING needed to be repaired).

@BillWiIdin I have a 25 step rule - the waitstaff has to take 25 steps before I consider tipping. Hand me food from across the counter - no tip. Stand there, pointing at my order that I drove over to pick up - No tip

Tipping should be 0% for anything other than Sit Down, 5-Star Service. I’m not paying an extra 25% because you turned a tablet around at a coffee shop. It’s the employer’s job to pay you, not mine.

@Kristinartz Dad had OCD, so not only did he HAVE to have a SPECIFIC chair, you werent allowed to sit in it, touch it, or anything else with it. (IF you did, it was "Contaminated" and had to be sanitized) Fun was "I dare you to go sit in Dad's Chair" with my brother

@ronsterd89 Depends on the meal - sometimes it was home cooked. Other times - processed. (When the first South Asian Indian family enrolled, the cafeteria staff didnt understand that the children couldnt eat beef. "What do you mean - no hamburgers?!?" )

@fandompulse Considering the love & time Dayton Ward has given to keeping Star Trek going, I consider his work Canon in a Separate Time line. Plus, writers like him and others are keeping the Trek Torch alive during those times when the franchise goes into Hiatus

The author of the official Star Trek Picard sequel novel just admitted that nothing he writes will ever truly matter to the franchise. "None of the novels and the comics have any bearing on the television shows. They're not going to take those into account when they write their stories." Should Star Trek novels count as canon, or are fans wasting emotional investment on stories the franchise will never acknowledge?

@Nerdcognito I am still good friends w/ my old RPG bestie. (We lost contact, after HS graduation, for abt 15 yrs). We still get together from time to time; when we do, his wife says "And now I have a glance at the two of you as pre-teens / teens." "Nay - we didnt need as many aspirin then"

@awkwardgoogle Our Dog was like this. First time we went to the beach with her, she saw us in the water and swam out to join us. Once she was close enough, she crawled up on my shoulder and was "hey, this is fun"

@akafaceUS We spent 5 minutes laughing and writing that down in our notes, with underlines and circles around it. "And that MIGHT be a bonus question on this week's quiz" (IT was). By the end of the summer session, I wasnt setting my family up for "I squeak by" grade but a "A, Baby!!"

@akafaceUS Best lesson he taught us: "Sorry I'm a bit late & will be off my game. I am still a bit buzz from last nite. Word of Advice - date a rich divorced person. Especially if they are rice from the divorce. They take you out, give you top shelf hooch, & treat you right" 4/
