[Warning: Non-business post] Sometime in the '90s, we made the civilizational-scale error of observing college's correlation with good life outcomes and turning college into the ~only "approved" gateway into adulthood, thereby ~forcing huge numbers of young people into life-altering debt. Truly abhorrent and unimaginable behavior today at the @FedSocUCLA event that hosted a @DHSgov lawyer. Leftist students repeatedly disrupted the event, yelled profanities, shouted, made their phones ping incessantly, and eventually stormed out to a rally that violated all time, place, and manner restrictions. These students can’t handle @FedSoc event about the law, but will remain students at @UCLA_Law and eventually be admitted to the Bar. It is a damning indictment on higher education that students behave so despicably.

I wonder if liberal media alt-right star Richard Spencer was the 2017 Charlottesville alt-right rally leader who was bankrolled and supervised by the SPLC for racist messaging. Virginians fought hard today. Rural Virginia maxed out its voting power. They did what they were called on to do. But Northern Virginia shifted even further to the left to silence those rural voters. Now we move from the ballot box to the “jury box.” Will the Virginia Supreme Court protect the rights of millions of Virginians from being trampled like this? We all have our doubts, but keep hope and keep fighting.
