What an amazing night at the Ark, what talent we have seen. From dancing to singing and even a comedian. The bravery shown by the children is fantastic to see. Collect worship will be full of applause 👏 for the winners Congratulations to all the children that got involved.

Elder have been having great fun for Science Week! We tested different shapes of boats and saw how many marbles we could float on them. The record was 70! @SchoolWhitegate

Today’s curious question… How can we reuse and recycle paper? Using our scrap paper Rowan had a go at making their own paper. It was a messy job but so exciting to watch how it changes. We’re letting it dry over night and checking the results in the morning! @SchoolWhitegate

For our final One Unselfish Act, Elder gave up some of their time to make bird feeder balls. We mixed suet with bird seeds and soaked raisins, threaded through some string and formed them into balls. We can’t wait to see some birds tucking into them! @SchoolWhitegate

For our final Unselfish Act of the year Rowan wanted to create a space for mini beasts. We planted bee friendly wildflowers and set up bug hotels for them to enjoy. Let us know if you spot our kindness garden! 🌻🐝 @SchoolWhitegate

Super computing and art skills today. The children used their knowledge of searching for images on the iPads using key words and the image tab, to find seascapes and RNLI boats to sketch ✍️ as well as starting their abstract seascape canvases! @SchoolWhitegate
