Did some digging, talked to a few people on Leafs front.. One thing that keeps coming up: Keith Pelley has his hands in everything. Where was this dysfunction last year under Shanahan? Hmm. Also, can confirm the Leafs didn’t wait until 20 minutes before the deadline to call teams (a McMann trade was reported before 2pm), and Berube & Treliving were always on the same page. Lots out there right now — not all of it adds up. @TLNdc

Edna looks at the Wings as one of the most concerning franchises in terms of chances to win. Never had lottery luck, and given how long they've been out of the playoffs, they would crack the list of "Upcoming teams" that can contend. And now they're too good for a top pick. Too bad for playoffs.

@WatchMyReview Now as I think about it, an 18 year old Wings fan hasn't really experienced success like the Boomer, Gen x , Millennial and older Gen Z Wings fans. It's been rough for them but I grew up in Red Wings territory and speaking from experience how the older generations been spoiled
