I picked up AiLearning․com back in 2012, when AI was still just a term in science fiction. Fast forward to today—"AI Learning" is registered in 100 extensions. According to dotDB, only about 36,417 keywords have surpassed the 100-extension mark. That’s the benchmark I use to determine whether a .com is truly ultra-premium. (You can access the full list here: dotdb.com/top-keywords.) Right now, I own 5 .com domains with 100+ extensions taken. I’m always looking to acquire more, but .com domains that have reached this threshold are becoming increasingly difficult to buy—most are developed and actively used by end users. The number of such domains still available on the market and owned by domain investors is likely fewer than 10,000.

Dynadot is a great registrar, it gives great offers, but when it comes to domain expiration, I have had the worst experiences with them. Here is a domain that expired a day ago, I unlocked it at the control panel but the status is still transfer prohibited. I initiated the transfer with other Registrar and now will have to bang my head with a chat representative for hours before he will forward me the transfer email. When the the rules define that there is a 30 day grace period for the user to renew the domain, why is domain Registrant contacts are changed on Day 1? Why is the registrant email expired@dynadot.com? isn't that a security risk that the emails related to my domains will be sent to that email? My domain can disappear and I will not even know. Why should a user be held hostage? one must have the choice to transfer the domain out during the given grace period to any other registrar without having to suffer these issues. Please Dynadot, Make this process less painful, holding users hostage will just make them leave you more.

Found at least a dozen examples of my names that display 'Domain Taken' incorrectly. It's bad enough that sometimes the wrong price is shown, but now buyers can't even add our names to the cart? You can't make this up... how is this a 'Boost'? 😵‍💫 @afternic @Undeveloped

Hi Dan, It’s very important to decipher between a cybersquatter (illegal) and a domain investor (Bona Fide Business). You simply should not be conflating the two. It’s common misinformation so often people make this mistake. Perhaps you can edit the article to rectify this. Your example of the TM lawyer squatting on HarrisWalz.com is indeed self proclaimed cybersquatting and severely frowned upon within our industry and @ICADomains. On the other hand Bona Fide Domain Investing is a very real investment for many individuals and entities. There are millions of valuable domains owned by investors that don’t infringe on trademark rights. For example, Gold.com was sold by an investor for $8.5 million USD this year. This is NOT cybersquatting.

The only correct way to invest in AI: Assume AI is going to be bigger than everyone thinks. I remember thinking a few years ago that the way to be contrarian on AI is to be more bullish on it than everyone else. And back then it already felt like everyone had gone mad.
