The only way I think you can pin the lack of communication on Decker is that he probably shouldn't have announced his return until Holmes returned his call. But it's also not great that Holmes didn't return his text or call.

I have zero problem with the Lions asking Decker to take a pay cut. And zero problem with Decker saying "no." But the communication needs to be way better about that, based on Decker's side of the story. He deserved better.

The PGA Tour's lack of ambition to grow its brand throughout the world is stunning incompetence. These locations were uncontested layups and they'd rather sit on the bench and kick their feet up.
