While the law has not yet been finalized, members of Congress are supposed to wait in standard lines due to DHS policy, and the Senate has unanimously voted to make that requirement permanent. So apparently, they are still using their privilege.

There IS a bill in the Senate that has been approved - while the bill moves through the legislative process, members of Congress are already facing standard security screening due to temporary measures. Effective February 22, 2026, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) suspended all "courtesy escorts" and special privilege access for lawmakers. DHS implemented this emergency measure to conserve resources and manpower during the ongoing partial government shutdown, ensuring that available TSA staff can prioritize screening the general public.
