@DarrenArsenal1 I also find it incredible that they're actually telling you to watch the rival channel for the next match! Probably because they know neither has a highlights show

How much do they all pay for these world cup matches? Put on a hour review show at 6am. Rating would be huge. Instead dont see the games or the goals for most through the night games, or the stories, and ergo interest level fades with lack of interest. How the two broadcast giants who had years to prepare for this, not do something so simple, shows a complete lack of awareness of its audience

Cheer this young man while he’s scoring goals for Australia. Blame him for high house prices and crime when he walks down the street. The sheer fucking racist hypocrisy of white Australia and One Nation.

Many of those "foreign nationals" will have kids who were born in this country. I've yet to hear from Matt and his party where they stand on making children (British children!) homeless, and threatening to deport their parents.
Matt Goodwin@GoodwinMJ

Under a Reform government, foreign nationals in social housing will be given three months to find private accommodation or face being deported. British military veterans, long-term local residents, domestic abuse survivors will be given priority.

@AaronBastani do you really think we should be allowing foreign companies critical control over vital infrastructure?

You literally demanded the world’s leading 5G technology company leave the country - which cost the UK billions as it goes.

I’m in Dulwich. One of the more expensive areas of London, supposedly a global city, and I’m getting worse mobile phone reception that I did in Kabul a decade ago. I pay for two contracts: @O2 and @EE and neither is reliable so I can’t work. Mobile phones are useless in vast areas of Britain and have got worse. You can never work on a train, unlike in France. But we’re spending £4.5 billion in bike lanes and crossings. This government is prioritising virtue signalling vanity projects when we need infrastructure urgently.

In 2007, the standards of living in the United States and Western Europe were similar, and most people don’t realize how much things have diverged since the US boomed after the global financial crisis and Europe didn’t. They don’t fully understand how we’re living and we don’t fully understand how they’re living; even when we visit Europe as tourists, we don’t see their tiny, sad flats and their depressing grocery stores. That is why Europeans visiting for the World Cup are going to, like, a Waffle House or a Taco Bell and losing their minds. Stuff we don’t even like or care about is wildly superior to everything everywhere else. We have no idea how rich we are.
Fox News@FoxNews

World Cup tourists fall in love with middle America — raving about Waffle House at 1 a.m., Buc-ee's gas stations, and strangers driving them to stadiums in the rain. Oxford Economics expects 1.24 million international visitors for the tournament, and their viral posts are showcasing a side of the country most foreign media never covers.

America’s World Cup hero of last night, Folarin Balogun, is only allowed to play for the US national team because his heavily pregnant Nigerian mother was refused permission by US airlines to fly to the UK, and so the first two months of his life were - by accident - in Brooklyn. It is pretty much inconceivable that if Trump’s immigration enforcement had been in place that Balogun would have been permitted to be born in America. Draw your own conclusions
