The White Sox burning a 40 man spot on Schweitzer for less than 2 innings pitched is gross roster mismanagement. This is basic stuff that Getz seems to fumble over and over again. And if davitt is good, it started his service time instead of letting smith pitch one more start

@RegionRat14 It’s really not a big deal. Schweitzer will be up and down often as the season goes on. Not many pitchers with options on the staff.

Just to be clear, I DO NOT want expansion for the men's tournament either.
I specifically mentioned the women's tournament because I don't think people realize how chalky the women's tournament is EVERY year.

The idea of expanding the women's NCAA Tournament is actually insane.
14 seeds have NEVER won a game.
15 seeds have NEVER won a game.
16 seeds have won 1 game (Harvard 1998)
It's already the chalkiest tournament in existence. They need LESS teams. Not more.

The NCAA is expected to finalize an expansion of the men’s and women’s tournaments to 76 teams soon after the completion of this year’s March Madness tournament, per Yahoo Sports' @RossDellenger. Barring something unforeseen, “it will happen,” a high-placed source told Dellenger. The proposal would add eight games to the First Four, with 24 teams playing in an opening round before advancing into the second round.

@KenWo4LiFe Infield in is a lot like sacrifice bunting. It’s really dumb unless it’s late and necessary. It’s abhorrently dumb when there’s more than one guy on base. And it’s even worse when there’s a guy on first and one out. But will loves it more than @SoxMach_pnoles loves meidroth.

@TheConnorPils The list is 0 people. There’s nobody in the world that could lead a 16 to a natty. Wemby is the closest answer I’d consider just cuz his defensive presence alone is so impactful…but even then it’s a no. All 5 Arizona starters are gonna be in the league and they’ve got size

In fact, when a couple former board members pressed me on the issue I told them we didn’t have the enrollment to support that & football. (Also even if I like soccer how does that disqualify me from other sports)

From a rules perspective you can't even explain how baffling Duke's decision to throw the ball away was...
1.) Shot Clock off
2.) Exactly 10 Seconds left - a 10 second violation is meaningless
3.) 5 Seconds doesn't apply in the BC

It’s only two games but Munetaka Murakami looks like he belongs. I’m sure he’ll struggle at times and it’ll be lots of strikeouts but he’s going to mash against mediocre pitching. Easy 40 homer potential. #WhiteSox
