@GoingParabolic So many crypto influencers are posers and grifters. It sucks that the masses give these people their attention which validates their existence even though they probably never had a meaningful investment in the space
English

These Spaces hosts rekt you more than you know. They think they are taking a lap on bitcoin'rs by saying I told you it would go back to the 80's. "I told you i would be able to buy bitcoin cheaper."
What they won't tell you. They are totally rekt and have no money whatsoever to buy any bitcoin at 87k. Every token they hold is down 50-90% or more.
So where are the OUTPERFORM BITCOIN BRO's AT?

@brian_armstrong Coinbase One Credit Card is an exciting product but still lacking features that make it a competitive credit card solution for me:
1) First and foremost not having a separate login for your credit card which is tied to your CB account is a massive security risk if you maintain any meaningful balance
2) CB support as customer service for your credit card and not Amex is beyond frustrating. I've had some charges flagged as fraud and couldn't talk to anyone to confirm validity. The resolution was to just use a different card.
3) Not having Amex or card direct support means there is also nobody to talk to about limits. Since CB One is not a charge card I have to make multiple payments a week to clear balance vs someone being able to look at CB balance or income to increase credit line to a more realistic level for my spending or income.
4) Not having 3rd party API access to transactions for bookkeeping or statements. Currently I would have to give my CB account credentials and login to a bookkeeper or accountant to classify and categorize transactions. Again, a massive security risk.

@O2debt @Claynosaurz @y00tsNFT Agreed. I just realized my ETH Y00ts won’t move. Did I miss another 12 migrations to other chains? 😂

$5k / day debit card limits now live for everyone!

Brian Armstrong@brian_armstrong
Update on this: We'll be testing $5k limits for all customers starting Oct 14th (in a few days). And have a plan to deploy tiered transaction limits for low risk users up to $10k (maybe even $100k) by mid next year.

@jamestgordon @JuddLienhard Heck yeah! Glad you weren’t injured. We don’t heal like we used to 😅
English

At 8:43pm last night I ate it on this sidewalk edge!
Yep, on my little two-miler after work I somehow hit that edge wrong
and went down in the middle of my @JuddLienhard Podcast (w/ @RichardRyan, really good btw!)
Had the wherewithal to roll through it and bounce back up with nothing more than a scrapped knuckle and a bruised palm (and ego).
But man, it happened fast.
And the reason I’m out there?
The @PXS_ITAD team has a body comp contest that just started this week, going through end of November.
Pretty stoked to *really* reengage on the fitness front (and get some coaching by @_AshleyRichmond)!
Used to be on it in my 20’s and early 30’s.
Glad to be back at it and looking forward to dropping some lb’s and having more energy and focus!

@elonmusk How about monetization on channels that create lawful firearms content? Using advertisers who don’t know how to set ad exclusions in campaigns is one of the dumbest excuses for censorship ever

Show me the incentive and I’ll show the outcome.
1. Politicians are getting richer, while their constituents are getting poorer
2. They increasingly go back on their campaign promises
3. Americans are more politically divided than ever before
How do we fix that? Criticism is easy, solutions are hard.
If @elonmusk really wants to contribute to a positive outcome for the American people I don’t think a 3rd party is the solution. I think it’s consequences for the existing parties and politicians.
A 3rd party won’t get enough votes to make significant proactive policy changes, the best you can hope for is leverage as a tie breaker vote. Ensuring your opponent loses doesn’t mean you win.
At best our primary system is broken, at worst it’s rigged. You have the most extreme and polarizing 5% of each party that votes in candidates that leaves most people voting for the lessor of two evils in the general elections because they’re afraid of what the other extreme will do if they get in power.
Instead of a 3rd party, what about a political action committee that holds politicians publicly accountable? An apolitical organization that supports democrats or republicans that enter into a legal agreement based on a core criteria. Example: they will never vote to increase the deficit, only balance the existing budget.
How would you enforce that?
First they have to disclose their income and all their assets. Then they put all their assets into an irrevocable trust with the governing documents stipulating the terms. Much like wealthy people will put parameters into trusts if their kids go to college or start a business the trust allocates funds or get money… you can also deny funds or have other consequential actions. In other words you could say if a politician votes to increase the deficit their assets are liquidated, the funds are then distributed to reimburse the PAC in the amount of whatever campaign contributions were made and the remainder is disbursed equally to their constituents, builds a hospital or whatever.
If a politician won’t disclose their assets or income, they should be primary’d immediately. If they won’t put their money where their mouth is on a few key issues around the economy, privacy or single issue bills… They should be primary’d immediately. There has to be consequences for their actions. I think legal framework is a great way to expose those who aren't their to represent the people.
For generations we keep getting suckered into voting for the lessor of two evils when Americans have more common ground than differences. Corporations, nation states and special interests understand this. That’s why you’ll see them support the “uniparty” and hedging their bets regardless of who is in the majority. A great example was how @TheAKGuy was polling to beat Tony Gonzales in the Texas District 23 primary and AIPAC came in at the last minute with 7 figures to help Tony narrowly win by only a few hundred votes. When it came time for the general election the people in that district wouldn’t risk losing a seat to the other party so twice the amount of people voted the Republican candidate than the Democrat.
We need more bipartisan legislation and officials that represent the majority of American perspectives and our futures. I think that starts by supporting politicians who are publicly willing to put skin in the game and risk the consequences of selling our futures for their short term gain.
Epstein didn't kill himself.

Don’t think of today as America’s birthday… Birthdays are cute. Birthdays are for children.
Today is the day a nation of people stood up to a tyrannical government that no longer represented their interests, values and declared their independence from it. It’s also the day that humanity faced annihilation from an alien species. Today, remember that government overreach is unacceptable, taxation is theft and Randy Quaid for blowing up that spaceship.
Today we celebrate our Independence Day🇺🇸

I sold a vehicle at 11am on a Sunday. The guy flew from out of state. Paid me in bitcoin. In minutes I signed the title and he drove off. You can transfer millions on the most secure infrastructure across borders, without swift, without a bank, you can travel without any physical currency on you at the risk of being confiscated…. Outside of security and decentralized centralized systems. I use blockchain tokens as unique identifiers in supply chain.
To be fair there is a lot of grifters and vaporware out there but the use cases exist and they’re extremely important for the future IMO
