In my new favorite bit of university red tape a student got food at a grocery store for a multi-day fieldwork campaign and now our "service" center won't let us claim partial per diem and is insisting she tell them which items were eaten for which meal before reimbursement.

My parting gift from attending the SRA conference last week - a positive test just before my daughter's birthday party, which I'm now missing.
