A5- I love giving students the assignment of creating a non-fiction text feature autobiography. Students create the project in Sway, Flip, PPT, Canva, or Minecraft. They have the opportunity to get creative in showcasing who they are. @MicrosoftEDU @canva #IKESmsEDU

A4- Instead of creating strict boundaries, create assignments that are open to interpretation and choice within a given outcome. Giving students some independence in how to create something encourages autonomy and creativity. #IKESmsEDU

@KristenBrooks77 A1- I believe that creativity comes with safety. When students feel they are in a safe environment, they can set effective boundaries, and know their teachers respect and love them, and creativity can be bred. I define creativity as safety to be yourself. #IKESmsEDU

A3- @flip has great tools that work well to further explanation and knowledge within social studies and literacy. I love using @Minecraft for every content area because you can explore content in a in-depth and engaging ways that showcases how students learn and think #IKESmsEDU

A2-Many @MicrosoftEDU tools support literacy instruction like Immersive Reader, Reading Progress & Coach but PowerPoint Speaker Coach is my favorite. I teach my students to use this to practice before presenting using AI for feedback on pace, pitch filler words & more. #IKESmsEDU

A1- the biggest advantage of #edtech literacy tools is the huge variety, ease of access, and how easy it is to find something that interests your students. A disadvantage is it can be overwhelming, distracting, and unaccessible to some because of cost. #IKESmsEDU
