Greymanes, Patch Version 1.04.00 is rolling out. This patch adds game difficulty settings, new storage items, new pets, a keyboard/mouse and controller preset, new category tabs for the inventory, distant scenery quality improvements, UI improvements, and more. Asha is already doing much more for Xbox than Sarah Bond ever did. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate pricing is dropping from $29.99 to $22.99 a month PC Game Pass will also drop from $16.49 to $13.99 a month However, Game Pass Ultimate is losing COD day-one launches and it is still $3 more expensive than the previous hike. However Ubisoft+ Classics and Fortnite Crew is still included, a reasonable feature for some gamers and a deal-breaker for others. What are your thoughts on this decision?

@NickelodeonSr @NikTek You just don't get it. Yes, you can. But you are the product even then. They want you invested. You're achievements, savefiles, clips, DLCs, your profile. Anything to make you subservient to them. Steam does this too, while offering a much better service.

@Rooster832 @kick @Asmongold The reason he hasn't played Skyrim or RDR2 is the same reason. It is long form content. He has said this multiple times. His priority is content creation. Flashy, fast-paced games are best for content. Long, drawn out narrative driven games aren't on the to-do list for him.

@duzzy_p @NikTek It was a double edge sword for lazy players. Yes you can get from A to B very quickly but chances are you miss hidden caves and secrets. I only used it to cover previously explored areas to have fun. Instead of fast traveling to town I would just fly.

@NikTek It sucks but i kind of understand why they'd do it, it was game breaking. why bother trying to find a better horse/mount when you can fly over everything at the speed of sound early game

Update* Pearl Abyss has patched this flight trick with the latest update. Honestly I'm kind of disappointed that they did patch this because it really was one of the coolest methods to make Kliff gain a huge boost in speed during Flight. Here's how it looks now:

They patched the focus mode aerial roll in Crimson Desert with Patch 1.02.00

Because all of these locations are unique and NOT copy pasted bandit camps with the same 3 puzzles repeated. Also the in-game map does not look like this, Crimson Desert actually has you go out and exploring yourself without the need of the million markers on Valhalla’s map

Crimson Desert is facing huge backlash after adding Denuvo DRM 7 days before launch.

@NeverSinkDev This isn't the first time in US history something comes along and threatens an entire industry built around said thing. Before refrigerators, we had an entire ice industry. Before cars/roads we had and entire equine industry. Sorry you're a part of it now, find something else.

I've been debating if I wanted to post this... because this is genuinely TERRIFYING me. I've been using Claude Code with Opus 4.6 and the leap it made over the last year is terrifying. Context: I'm a developer with well over 15 years of experience. I'm using the AI for an evolution sandbox simulation. The AI frequently 1shots tasks that would take me 4-16 hours. I'm steering it and creating a lean architecture by guiding the AI and writing the main classes myself. Right now is probably the sweet spot where your knowledge as an experienced developer can turn you into a 100x developer. However, that's not the point. I'm afraid (and I hope to be wrong) that within the next 5-10 years any developer, manager, most research and most jobs that we see as 'high profile thinking tasks' will become obsolete. This is honestly a future I dread. The cultural consequences will be absurd. What's your take? PS1: I'm withholding usage of AI for anything creative and critical (including my filter/filterblade projects). PS2: I'm training myself no matter what project I use to always have at least 2-3 hours of writing code by hand every day to stay sharp, but practically I can now be around 10x more efficient, by delegating agents and guiding them to build the right architecture. PS3: If you think creative or management jobs are not at risk, unfortunately I believe chances are very high that you're wrong.

@OcrazioCornPop Don't forget that they (Massie & Khanna) had to write up a new law before the DOJ did jack shit and forced them to do their fucking job, and they botched it because they don't know the difference between criminals and victims...

So, Massie and Khanna "pressured" the DOJ to un-redact 6 names as the DOJ didn't provide the lawful info about these redactions. The DOJ then decided that none of these six men should have been redacted and un-redacted their names. Now, the DOJ is saying 4 of the 6 men THEY un-redacted were completely innocent and unrelated to Epstein. And the DOJ is now playing victim and blaming Massie and Khanna for their responsibility and mistake? Am I missing anything? @RepThomasMassie @RoKhanna
