I find Christians do this with a lot of stories/movies nowadays. Unless it’s blatant like “Fireproof”or “Courageous” the they refuse to see the movie having Christian values. It’s really disheartening.

Lot’s of people are responding negatively to my analysis that Project Hail Mary is a Christian movie. Especially Christians. Faith Based Entertainment has spoon fed Church Slop to Christians for so long they don’t know how to do critical analysis of stories anymore. They can’t comprehend that a story about a man named Grace aboard a ship called Hail Mary who sacrifices his life to save humanity is a Christian story. Because nobody said a sinner’s prayer at the end and there wasn’t an altar call in the third act. Twenty years of Church Movies broke your brain. Faith Based entertainment has absolutely dumbed down Evangelicals.

Chappell Roan built the most aggressive fan-boundary framework in pop music. It is now the single biggest threat to her career. In August 2024, a stalker showed up at her parents' house in Missouri and tracked her to a hotel room in New York. She posted TikToks setting boundaries. Charli XCX, Billie Eilish, Sabrina Carpenter, Lady Gaga, Lorde, and Elton John all reached out privately. The boundaries were justified. Then the framework calcified into a system. Security doesn't distinguish between a stalker tracking her to a hotel room and an 11-year-old walking past her breakfast table in São Paulo. The guard called it "disrespect" and "harassment." Threatened to file a formal complaint with the hotel. The kid, Jorginho's stepdaughter (her biological father is Jude Law, for context on how absurd the power dynamic is here), sat there crying while her mom got lectured. Two weeks ago in Paris, Roan confronted paparazzi outside a restaurant by filming them. Sabrina Carpenter said at the Grammys that Roan "started a movement." The framing was still working. Today it broke. 25M+ views on this tweet. The same internet that defended her boundary TikToks in 2024 is turning on her over a child who smiled and walked away. Jorginho has 4.9 million Instagram followers and plays for Flamengo in Brazil, where Roan is performing at Lollapalooza. He's spent his entire career being recognized by kids who want to confirm it's really him. His statement reads like a professional public figure explaining exactly how recognition encounters work and why this one was handled wrong. The security apparatus Roan built to protect herself from genuine threats now treats every interaction as a potential violation. She has a perimeter. And perimeters make enemies out of the people who built everything inside them.

NEW: Afroman's music video "Lemon Pound Cake" played in court as "Officer Poundcake" was forced to sit and watch. Adams County Sheriff's deputies are suing Afroman after he released a music video following a botched raid on his home. At one point during the trial, the video was played during Officer Shawn Cooley's testimony. The song was inspired after the officer allegedly glanced down at Afroman's desert during the botched raid on his home. Officers claim that Afroman's songs and social media posts following the raid caused them "mental distress and danger." (ABC6)

However, since 4chan is based in the USA, the UK has no jurisdiction to fine Americans in America. “As has been explained to your agency, ad nauseam, the United Kingdom lost the American Revolutionary War. We are not in the mood to discuss the matter further, and have not been in the mood for 250 years.” The letter to the UK’s Ofcom ended by suggesting that “maybe, you could just stop sending Americans stupid letters and acknowledge the sovereignty of the United States.” 4chan’s attorney, @prestonjbyrne also included a picture of a giant hamster dressed as Godzilla.

For context it would help. I didnt see the SFA episode in question , but i hear someone put omega particles around some area. and since it is established in voyager that even a handful of those can disrupt subspace it could be used for mining.. doing that around a sector sounds pretty stupid, around a starsystem or a handful of them .. it could definitely disrupt them
