@mariovince19 Taylor Hall was making double that, and by moving him they were also able to dump Nick Folingo’s contract. Moving Hall opened up almost $10M in cap space. It’s not that hard to understand.

Can't believe I have to say this, but a friendly reminder that the #NHLBruins did not trade Taylor Hall because they didn't believe in him. They traded him because they went all in for the 2023 season, the team failed to get the job done, and found themselves in salary cap hell.
