Yep, the hype is real! Crimson Desert is straight...🔥 As I thought, it has more systems than full MMOs but it doesn't stop me from enjoying a stunning world and fun gameplay. Tip: Remember you don't HAVE to do everything the game throws at you. You'll have a great time.

@TheHoughtoning That was the incentive. They milked the XI much deserved fan reaction and thought fans would respond well to entirely different combat mechanic. It worked for .Hack games and Rogue Galaxy but FF would never recover from that decision.

Smallville cooked so hard with its casting! I'm on Season 6 and already loving it more than any other DC show. Each actor is hand picked so well. What did you think of the actors?

Barely finished the first book. I've yet to read the rest of the series but Jordan's 1st book was way overhyped. After years of intending to read it I finally did and was baffled by its fame. While the world building is great, you literally don't know anything about the characters by the time the book ends. Everyone just srpings into action without proper motivation or drive, or any individual personality to speak of. Nothing about that book was memorable in a way LOR, Barsoom, Dragonlance, or Howard's Conan books are. I suppose my outlook will change after further reading, but where it stands the original WOT book is a sub par fantasy at best. The show was unwatchable. It can't even follow its own logic. Shit just randomly happens on screen and I'm supposed to care?

An open-world AAA game based on The Wheel of Time book series is in development. iwot Studios CEO says the game will aim to cover the entire world and "not going to be limited to one area or another or a particular age."
