I was talking to a cab driver in SH. He makes less than $1000 each month and works 10-12 hrs a day/6 days per week. He complained that city regulations are unfriendly to the cab drivers. Peter Wang was a freshman at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. He was also an Army JROTC cadet who dreamed of attending West Point and serving his country. On February 14, 2018, when the shooting started, Peter was in study hall. As panic spread through the corridors, he moved towards the exit. it’s not by class. Class was determined when you were born. the American system is largely based on affordability; an example is Elon Musk. He came here with only $3000, and now he is a billionaire. What class did he belong to, and what class is he now then? On top of that, there is not a physical segregation. for example, you can still choose to buy a house in a poor neighborhood even though you are rich; nothing stops you doing that.
