This is absolutely disgraceful! Absolutely unacceptable behaviour from @YouTubeIndia and @GoogleIndia .
Arbitrarily shutting down channels with ZERO prior notification and ZERO policy violations is a blatant disregard for independent creators.
Our channel, The Wall Amrita Katha, which features purely motivational and positive teachings from monks, educators, and professors from reputed institutes in India, just got deleted without any notice.
We have heard of multiple similar cases from other creators as well.
You cannot just erase years of hard work overnight without due process or explanation. Creators deserve transparency, accountability, and immediate answers.
Under RTI, we demand to know exactly why the channel got deleted.
Either give us a proper reason with the exact details, or restore the channel now!

Typical Bengali mother-son conversation 😀
My mother called me today and asked, “Tumi ki arsholar party tar naam shunecho?” (Have you heard about that party named after the cockroach?)
I got excited about where this conversation might go and said yes.
She immediately replied, “Eto poka thakte arshola keno? Amar ekdom bhalo lagche na. Facebook-e shobai jyanto arsholar chhobi dichhe. Ami Facebook-i khulchi na.”
(“Out of all the insects, why cockroach? I absolutely don’t like it. Everyone on Facebook is posting pictures of live cockroaches. I’m not even opening Facebook anymore.”)
So I tried explaining the political context, and she firmly concluded:
“Ami arsholar naam-e kono party-ke support korbo na.”
(“I am not going to support any party named after a cockroach.”)

पत्रकारिता केवल कैमरे के सामने खड़े होकर ब्रेकिंग बोल देने का नाम नहीं है, बल्कि समाज की नब्ज़ को समझने, ज़मीन की धूल में उतरकर सच को पहचानने और फिर उसे तार्किक साहस के साथ सामने रखने की कला है। संखदीप दास उसी परंपरा के पत्रकार हैं, जिनकी सबसे बड़ी ताकत “माहौल पढ़ने” की अद्भुत क्षमता है।

राजकिशोर जी की लेखनी और राजनीतिक समझ लंबे समय से पत्रकारिता जगत में विश्वसनीयता का प्रतीक रही है। उन्होंने अपने अनुभवों के माध्यम से यह भी दिखाया कि असली पत्रकारिता सत्ता के गलियारों से नहीं, बल्कि फील्ड की धड़कनों से बनती है। यही कारण है कि जब वे किसी पत्रकार की प्रशंसा करते हैं, तो वह केवल औपचारिकता नहीं बल्कि एक अनुभवी पत्रकार की गंभीर स्वीकृति मानी जाती है।

पश्चिम बंगाल चुनाव कवरेज के लिए कोलकाता पहुंचते ही सबसे पहले मित्र और @TheWallTweets के संस्थापक संपादक और शानदार पत्रकार @SankhadipTweets से मिला था। मेरा पहला सवाल था कि .क्या माहौल..?... शंखदीप दास का जवाब था.. परिवर्तन.. भाजपा का सीएम होगा, यदि वोट ठीक से पड़ा। वही हुआ। फिर जब बीजेपी जीत गई तो मैंने पूछा कि सीएम कौन होगा...फोन पर ही बात हो रही थी..हंसते हुए भाई बोला कि ..शुभेंदु...और सिर्फ सुभेंदु...। हमने संखदीप के साथ दिल्ली में भाजपा और कांग्रेस दोनों राजनीतिक दल कवर किए। अगर यूं कहूं कि दिल्ली आने के बाद शुरुआती संघर्ष के हम साथी थे...और हमने बहुत सी खबरें अलग-अलग..कभी साथ में फोड़ीं।
बंदा आज कई दर्जन लोगों की टीम का मीडिया हाउस चला रहा है, लेकिन फील्ड रिपोर्टिंग और लिखना नहीं छोड़ा। खबर के लिए अभी भी वही जज्बा...वही मेहनत..और उससे ज्यादा महत्वपूर्ण माहौल को समझते हुए तार्किक और सटीक व्याख्या करना...। मैं भी कुछ चर्चित और बेहतरीन रिपोर्ट कर पाया, उसमें संखदीप की समझ का बहुत योगदान रहा। गर्व है भाई तुम पर...। पत्रकारिता से ऊपर कुछ नहीं उसके लिए...खबर में जीना और खबर के पीछे भागने की इस ललक के हम सभी कायल हैं..।

Diplomatic statements are often most revealing in what they omit, and the Iranian readout is a textbook example of that.
Look closely at the structure of the statement.
The Iranian foreign minister uses very strong language about the United States and Israel — “crimes,” “aggression,” “violation of the UN Charter,” and a call for governments to condemn them.
But when it comes to India and EAM Jaishankar, the tone shifts completely. There is no criticism, no complaint, no hint of disappointment about India’s silence or cautious posture.
The restraint is deliberate.
Iran clearly understands that India is in a delicate position:
•close strategic relations with the United States
•strong defence ties with Israel
•deep economic and historical connections with Iran
•vital energy and diaspora interests across the Gulf.
From Tehran’s perspective, antagonizing India publicly would achieve nothing. Instead, Iran is doing something much subtler: keeping India inside the tent.
By emphasizing continued consultations and bilateral relations, Iran is signalling that it still sees India as a country worth engaging, perhaps even as a potential diplomatic bridge to other actors.
In diplomacy, this is sometimes called “leaving the door open.”
There is another layer too. Iran has always valued India as one of the few major countries that maintained relations with it even during periods of heavy Western sanctions. Projects like the Chabahar port and broader civilizational links still matter in Tehran’s strategic imagination.
So rather than chastising India for not condemning the United States or Israel, Iran has chosen to acknowledge the conversation and move on.
In other words, Tehran is saying:
“We know you cannot say what we want you to say — but we are not going to push you into a corner.”
That kind of restraint is rarely accidental in diplomatic language. It suggests that Iran still sees India as a country whose strategic ambiguity is useful rather than hostile.
And in a war where narratives matter almost as much as missiles, keeping a large regional power like India connected to Tehran may itself be considered a small diplomatic victory.

In this telephone conversation, Iran's Foreign Minister detailed the crimes committed by the United States and the Israeli regime against the Iranian nation over the past 11 days, including the missile attack on a girls' elementary school in Minab on the first day of the war and subsequent widespread attacks on civilian sites and public service centers. He emphasized Iran's determination to comprehensively defend the integrity of Iran. The Foreign Minister described the aggressive act by the US and the Israeli regime as a violation of the fundamental principles and rules of the United Nations Charter and international law, noting that all governments have a responsibility to condemn this military aggression and blatant law-breaking. The foreign ministers of Iran and India also discussed the consequences of the US and Israeli regime's military aggression on the security of shipping and vessel traffic through the Strait of Hormuz. Referring to Iran's principled approach to safeguarding shipping security in the Persian Gulf, Iran's Foreign Minister reminded that the insecure situation and problems arising for shipping in the Persian Gulf are a result of the aggressive and destabilizing actions of the United States, and the international community must hold the US accountable for this situation.
