@Sebastiansmxth I don’t see how any of this adds up to a logical argument for why monarchy should be desirable.

This scene has done more to promote the monarchy than anything I have seen this year. A mother, married, recovering from cancer, working tirelessly, being booed at with her children as they keep composure, hold their tongue and politely wave back.

Why are poor white pupils falling so far behind at school? Sir John Townsley argues the problem is not primarily the education system, but a culture of low expectations that begins at home 👇 telegraph.co.uk/news/2026/06/1…

Charles Barry designed two buildings in the same decade. One is Highclere Castle. The other is the Houses of Parliament. Highclere is privately maintained, open to the public, and in excellent condition. Parliament's own watchdog has warned it could become unsafe, or worse, if restoration keeps being delayed. Same architect. One became a tourist attraction. The other might not survive the decade.

@Sebastiansmxth @WaronSpeech Good grief. Lots of us work more tirelessly than that. If I were paid to live in a house like theirs I reckon I could shake a few hands. And then there's the people who work for free - SEND parents. Try that for a week or two.

@Sebastiansmxth @madole_jason No, but the Britons, whose lives they make dangerous, dirty and miserable, do. This is a likely a direct response to the Royals being perceived as silently-complicit to the intentional demographic and economic destruction of the UK by its own government.

@Sebastiansmxth @Dovidcc They have a voice. A big voice. They aren’t using it. Doesn’t the king take an oath to defend the homeland? You are way too passive and seemingly ignorant about what is happening in your country.

@Sebastiansmxth @mshale58 This isn’t a knife crime! This is a girl protecting her sister from migrant rapists that were grabbing at them. This is what your country is now. The migrants can have weapons but the citizens have zero way to protect themselves! They arrested this girl for Christs sake

@Sebastiansmxth When you willingly replace your people with savages, that's what you, your children, your wife and even your pets deserve. Bad monarchs who sold or betrayed their nation, with all of their family and servants, have had a much worse destiny than to be mildly booed. Soya royals.

@Sebastiansmxth Get out of here !! a few weeks back they were all Comfy with Islamist, dressing like them and even seating on the ground with them. How tone deaf are they ? The British people deserve better representation. They are waking up to this betrayal.

@cshells_uk Exactly. Most people complaining about monarchy also hate the established parties… yet a republic would give presidential powers to those parties.

@Sebastiansmxth I love our Royal Family, especially William, Catherine, and their children. The monarchy contributes far more to the UK economy than many people realise, particularly through tourism, heritage, and global interest in GB. What is the realistic alternative? An elected president?
