@aaroncgarrett This isn't true. I grew up watching Bonds. 40-40 Barry Bonds was the best version imo. That version is on par with Aaron Judge. Ohtani is on the trajectory to becoming the best player ever.

I love Shohei Ohtani and Aaron Judge, they are both incredible players and hitters. But they’re nothing like Barry Bonds. Sometimes … they miss. Barry never missed. If you threw him something in the zone, it was gone. That’s the difference between Barry and Shohei/Judge.

You think China is thriving based on what? Tall buildings and bright lights? I’m not defending USA because you’re right: USA is very socialist. But China is communist. Just because they don’t directly control the means of production, but rather, force competition, doesn’t mean they’re not communist.

This is how I see it... China is not Communist in the sense that the state owns all the means of production, and there are no market prices (you need at least 2 owners of property for a market to develop). The U.S. is also not Capitalist. We don't have sound money, free markets, and respect for private property. Only hints remain. Both the U.S. and China are a marriage of State & Corporations. The difference is the hierarchy. China's hierarchy is State over Corporations. America's hierarchy is Corporations over the State. The Chinese state clearly puts China first, and corporations have to conform themselves to that. The Chinese trade with the world and don't invade the world. America puts everything but America (and especially Israel) first. America invades the world. The results of both hierarchies are crystal clear. China is thriving. America is bankrupt.

@dronefishing1 @GadSaad @MarkJCarney We pay federal tax and provincial tax on earnings. We pay tax on consuming. We pay taxes on owning a home. We should be complaining. The fact that you’re not is indicative of how dumb you are.

@EdConwaySky Why aren’t Chinese EVs, 1/3 of the price, outselling Teslas in China? You people who over glorify Chinese EVs are so strange. Have you even ever driven one?

If you are conservative like me… you did not buy into the Green New Deal. You believe the free market should dictate what cars people buy. But if you automatically think “EV bad” in all circumstances… you have been brainwashed.

Tesla Insurance update With the latest version of Safety Score (v3.0), every mile you drive with FSD Supervised enabled will receive a score of 100. This allows you to maintain a higher average safety score over time, resulting in lower monthly insurance premiums. Applies to new policies in Indiana, Tennessee, Texas, Arizona, Virginia & Illinois

@tesla_na Insurance based off of a live driving score is risky regardless. There should be insurance for everyone and not only people with FSD. One of the biggest negatives is the price of insurance on Teslas. Insurance like this makes it worse.

This is based on a common misunderstanding of Musk’s tweet. He said, in discussing Nvidia and how hard it is to build a self-driving model that you need 10 billion miles of training data for unsupervised. People misinterpreted this to mean you need 10 billion miles of FSD usage to achieve unsupervised. But FSD usage is not what the training set is composed of. The training set is made up of *manually driven miles*. Human driven miles. How is the model going to learn driving by watching itself drive? It needs to watch humans. Tesla has been able to put together 10 billion mile+ training sets for some time. That’s why they have already been able to deploy unsupervised vehicles. Nothing magical is going to happen when FSD passes 10 billion miles of usage, other than it being a cool moment. Of course, everyone who misunderstood the tweet will probably start screaming about how “Elon lied!” when unsupervised doesn’t magically ship at 10B miles of usage.
Brian Sozzi@BrianSozzi

Morgan Stanley on Tesla: "Tesla is closing in on a key autonomy milestone. Based on its public tracker, Tesla owners are driving 18.5 million miles with FSD [full self driving] every day, putting the company on pace to surpass 10 billion cumulative FSD miles by late May. As CEO @elonmusk has emphasized, this represents an important milestone on Tesla's path toward Unsupervised FSD, alongside the consequential task of scaling an unsupervised robotaxi fleet. In a year when capex is set to more than double and free cash flow is flipping negative, we believe Tesla's ability to demonstrate tangible progress in scaling unsupervised autonomous driving capabilities will be critical in supporting valuation."

@BigBobsCards People back then hit for average because that was what was incentivized. Incentives are different now so hitters have adapted.

@MPelletierCIO Timing doesn’t really matter if you’re transacting for self-use. The market price is the market price; the variance is minor. If you’re buying to flip then timing matters a lot. I never invest in real estate.

Here's the thing, I much prefer Tesla's native software over Apple CarPlay, but if having CarPlay helps convince some people to buy a Tesla, then I'm all for it. At the end of the day, using CarPlay would be optional. You wouldn't have to use it. Some people just really want it.
