Cruciferous Vegetables 🥦 Do cruciferous vegetables protect against BC? 📊 NHS + NHSII: 169,523 women, 4.5M person-years 1 serving/day vs <1/week: • Overall BC: HR 0.91 • ER-negative: HR 0.83 (p-trend=0.01) 🔬 Glucosinolates → isothiocyanates → protective effect 💡 Stronger effect in women with BMI<25 for ER- tumors Broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage… eat up! 🥬 @OncoAlert @SABCSSanAntonio
