Let me be clear: our elections are safe and secure. Any attempt to federalize our elections or make it harder for Americans to cast their ballots is an attempt to take away Michiganders’ constitutional right to vote. I won’t let that happen. abc12.com/news/state/mic…

@lynssss3125 @GovWhitmer They covered these windows up AFTER kicking the GOP poll watchers out. Why would either side ever need to kick poll watchers out? The entire reason they exist is for a fair consensus on vote and ballot counting.

You are a complete and total liar. We know our elections are not safe with mail in ballots. We know there has been fraud. We know that non-citizens have been voting in our elections. You are a fraud, a liar, and a terrible governor who has run Michigan into the ground. Your time is done. We need a federal election standard of in-person, same-day, ID required voting. It's coming. You can't stop it.

@GovWhitmer Gov, with all due respect, Trump's EO on mail-in ballots is very simple: If states want to use the postal service in their elections, then there's a new bar code on the envelope with a postmark by election day. That seems fair to me.

FRANCE JUST SIDED WITH RUSSIA AND CHINA AGAINST THE US AT THE UN France is a NATO ally. A NATO ally just blocked an American resolution at the United Nations. Alongside Russia. Alongside China. The Strait of Hormuz carries 20% of the world's oil. Iran has shut it down for US and Israeli ships. Nobody at the UN will authorize force to reopen it. Not even America's own ally. Hours after France blocked the vote, Iran let a French ship through the strait. France cut a deal with Iran behind America's back. Let that sink in.

The reason we're not into forgiving the people abandoning MAGA now is that you're not doing it because of the rampant racism, sexism, utter stupidity or any number of other unconscionable things, but because it's finally negatively affecting you personally. You learned nothing.

If Iran wanted to inflict harm on the US in the past, all they had to do was shut down the Strait of Hormuz - they didn't need a nuclear weapon. The fact that they never did it - until we and Israel bombed them - clearly shows they weren't a threat. We are run by idiots.

@ContractorDirty @MattForVA Sure, it's similar to saying we can no longer build new steam locomotives. It's not that we don't know how. Just that all of the manufacturing infrastructure is gone. No amount of treasure, will, or engineering brilliance could produce a new steam locomotive tomorrow.

@MattForVA No one ever said we lost the tech. In the interview everybody cites he just says we dont have the tech anymore because we shut down the factory that made Saturn Vs when the program was cancelled. Find the video it comes from, you'll see what Im saying, they just edit it.

@HockeyDadCience @gregosuri I think you're conflating a few details. SpaceX makes Falcon 9 and Starship rocket boosters. Both are liquid fueled and both are intended to be reusable. The two side boosters on SLS during Artimis 2 launch were Solid Rocket Boosters by Northrup Grumman and won't be recovered.

@HockeyDadCience @gregosuri SpaceX didn't make those booster rockets. The SRBs used in the Shuttle era did parachute down, were retrieved and refurbished but those two on the SLS were fully expended, probably destroyed on splashdown and will not be retrieved.
