I got a 1099-misc from @coinbase custody. I have three accounts at Coinbase - I think the grand total of assets is $10. The $1099-misc said I made $1,600 last year. I called @CoinbaseSupport support. Total nightmare. You sent me the 1099-misc. "Please tell me where that money is from?" Instead I got endless runaround that ended with, "You need to consult your tax advisor". Thanks alot. I can't believe people still use them. And now that I'm on the rant, why do they get to hold up Clarity? No one in blockchain cares what they think.

Anyone else feel like this? The State Fair is a great example of the commercialization of Alaska versus home town spirit and fun. The only thing that I think about at the Fair is the traffic and parking. The fair itself is really bland, nothing new, it’s literally the same thing every year. The only thing that is new is the parking / traffic. @AlaskaStateFair

A lot of elder people get dementia and are very, very hard to look after because of their mental state. Even if you get him into a nursing home, the same thing happens except it is behind closed doors. It is only because this happened publicly that people are upset. But yes, dementia is a horrendous, horrendous thing and is going on everywhere. Just aweful.

🫣 SCENE FROM A HORROR MOVIE Authorities are investigating 21 dead dog-like animals washed ashore on Guemes Island, Washington. It started with 6 carcasses, with appearing over several days until the total reached 21. Officials say they are likely dogs or similar species (coyotes/foxes possible), but decomposition makes it hard to confirm. DNA testing and necropsies are being done to identify them. Disturbing details: Some animals reportedly had orange twine tied around their necks , signs of being skinned, heavily decomposed 😢 One official described the scene as “right out of a horror movie.” Authorities believe they were dumped from a boat offshore and washed in with tides or connected to illegal breeding or animal activity.
