I have to give credit where credit is due. Crypto exchanges are notorious for having poor customer service, and I know that a lot of people complain about @coinbase. I was having an issue yesterday getting on to their website, where it looked like it was loading, but never completed loaded the page. Meanwhile, everything worked fine on the ios app, so I was still able to trade. I tagged @CoinbaseSupport about the issue. They responded pretty quickly with confirmation that all systems were working, and offered to help me trouble shoot it further. Fortunately I was able to trouble shoot it with Google Gemini. I reloaded the page using Command+Shift+R and that worked. The impressive part is, I received multiple messages from Coinbase and @base support teams following up on the issue to see if I still needed help, or if I resolved...how I resolved. I realize that everybody may not have the same experience with Coinbase, but I thought it was important to highlight positive and proactive customer support experience. If you ever have issues, I highly recommend going straight to @CoinbaseSupport.

@CoinbaseSupport I get a text message saying my password has been changed. My account was HACKED. So then you want to send me a code to my OLD email address to reset it. This does not work. So I guess, what, my account just belongs to someone else now?? That security system sucks!!! HELP!!!

I just unfollowed @coinbase and will be closing down my account. I’ve always been stacking bitcoin:native since 2014 on a weekly basis and moving my Bitcoin to my Trezor. Lately I’ve been trying to cash some out and it’s giving me so much trouble, that I give up. I didn’t realize cashing out from Coinbase is such a hassle.
