Two men jailed for total of 64 years after gunning down innocent mother-of-two in drive-by shooting outside London church wake. Michelle Sadio, 44, was shot dead outside the River of Life Pentecostal Church in Willesden, north-west London on 14 December 2024 while attending a wake for an 80-year-old woman with around 100 mourners, including children as young as five. The attackers in a stolen black Kia with false plates were targeting local rapper Trapstar Toxic but fired indiscriminately into the crowd two other men were also shot, one left paralysed below the waist. Perry Allen-Thomas, 27, from Wembley (who organised it but stayed away) and Amir Salem, 20, from Wembley (who was 18 at the time and bought the petrol to torch the getaway car) were convicted at the Old Bailey of murder and two counts of attempted murder. Allen-Thomas received a minimum 38-year term; Salem got a minimum 26 years. The judge condemned their reckless disregard for who might die.
