Here in the jury pool room, I'm one of two people wearing a covid mask that I've seen. Periodically the room is rocked by massive coughing fits. This mask won't be enough, I worry. Y'all public spaces didn't used to feel this way. Have y'all just accepted this?

OK so if the CEO of Air Canada has to step down because his French isn't good enough and it's "disrespectful to French customers"... Can we apply the same energy to all the government agencies in Ontario & Canada (federal + provincial) where the staff literally can't speak understandable English or French? Especially the ones on the phone. Does this mean we should start demanding that public servants actually speak clear English and French? @mettyjetty Only where there’s risk of permanent disability such that wearing a mask can protect me. It’s not a huge cost to an outsized benefit. Long covid is real, millions are disabled every year. Ignoring it feels irresponsible, to me.

I'm in Florida and I can tell you there are A LOT of Canadians here. But the caveat is they're not travelling. They live here full time. They've broken away from Canada and moved down here. Most of them are entrepreneurs. The brain drain from Canada to the US is real. America is getting our best people.

There is no change in republican voting and democrat voting. The generations changed. Politics is not hardwired in, dumbass. I've been to all the continental united states. Blue states are far more racist.
