@BritishGasHelp @BritishGas I’ve received another messages from British Gas about fixing my (non existent) smart meter. I’m concerned by the over emphasis of ‘be reassured it’s us who will message from a different number’. Is scamming getting very sophisticated?

Just received this scam text pretending to be @BritishGas How do I know it’s a scam apart from the punctuations around ‘Yes’? I don’t have a smart meter.

@GFAlchemist1 @Rob_C_Allen @thebakingnanna1 It was very nice so thanks for the recipe. I did re ready the recipe after and custard was 4 yolks and 3 whites. By force of habit I just added 4 whites. So it didn’t set quite as well as it could. But it did taste delicious.

@Rob_C_Allen @StartPlayer @thebakingnanna1 Yum! It looks lush! I can never wait either! The traditional Italian recipe is not cream-based, although if you want it to set quicker, you can add a splash and whisk it in. It all depends how 'particular' you are 😂

For #GBBOTwitterBakeAlong I’ve made GF tiramisu from @GFAlchemist1 recipe. The Savoiardi Biscuits were simple enough to make. I didn’t realise it wasn’t cream but an egg/mascarpone mix. It prob wanted another hour to set but I wanted some now! @thebakingnanna1 @Rob_C_Allen

Tonight I saw (and performed with) the brilliant @hornesection at @CityVarieties. Huge respect the lady in the audience who heard there were two empty seats on front row and came on interval to ask to use them, and then won a task (and let me pose with it!).

@shinyhappymeepl @CJtheSmitty Thats what I read to. I’ve heard furvant arguments that more dice get removed if more players dice and not just one. The rules are ambiguous in original print and there are many arguments on BGG

@StartPlayer @CJtheSmitty Not sure what you mean by "this time". First time I've played it and didn't pass. From the rules you pass wait until round end, one die is binned, then you reroll. Seems OK to me 🤔

Late to the party post. My first play of Grand Austria Hotel and it didn't disappoint. Lots of nice decisions and thinkiness and the copy I bought has gorgeous 3D printed resources which is always a bonus! #grandaustriahotel #boardgames #boardgamesuk #boardgamegeek

@Rob_C_Allen @thebakingnanna1 I ate one 15 mins ago and I can still taste orange. It’s another recipe I’ve butchered from other recipes but will definitely do again. Thinking lemon could would as well.

For #GbboTwitterBakeAlong I’ve made chocolate orange frangipane tarts. I added zest to the pastry, a bit of juice to the frangipane and topped with choc orange buttons! These do taste really good and very orangey! @thebakingnanna1 @Rob_C_Allen

I’ve taken protection off for now so things can be shared. Will have to decide if want to stay here once GBBO over.

@thebakingnanna1 @Rob_C_Allen I found my old pic of when I attempted it! This is in my wheat flour days. I’ll be honest it wasn’t as bad I thought it would be. Just very time consuming. I did not use a pasta roller like the bakers did!

@thebakingnanna1 @Rob_C_Allen I struggled with instagram when I tried it years ago. Felt much more ‘perfection’ than the all abilities baking we encourage. I’m not on Facebook either. Seems most folk from my other hobbies are on blue sky. But I don’t know if I’ve energy to start social media again!

For #GBBOtwitterBakeAlong I’ve made GF chocolate caramel wafer biscuit bars. Chocolate work still not my strongest work to get neat this was a mix of bit of other recipes. I did 4 thin layers of biscuit. 3 thicker would have been better. @thebakingnanna1 @Rob_C_Allen

@Rob_C_Allen @thebakingnanna1 It very noticeable. To much here is different now. Like I tweet someone and suddenly I get loads of likes of profile of women not wearing much and a name/numbers username. It’s just becoming unusable.

@StartPlayer @thebakingnanna1 I see a lot of people put off by different policies being implemented. I think the only thing that would make me walk away, is if they made it a pay per use platform. I can just about put up with the stupid policies but we are seeing lots of people disappearing 😔

@thebakingnanna1 @Rob_C_Allen Ah sorry. It’s the new policies on here that blocking won’t work in the same way. Sadly once GBBO is done I might be done with Twitter as I don’t like that policy at all. Setting to private was only way to protect things now :-(
