This constant push for fidelity and realism is going to destroy the industry. It can't be maintained and the returns are diminishing.

@corysimmons123@StayAtHomeDev Because it makes no sense to force a bunch of untested features into an existing open source project from a large corporation when the maintainers could also easily deny them
Once the features are fleshed out, it may be feasible to merge, or it may be preferable to be separate
Two early enemies in Children of Kronos, a fast mining spider with a leap attack and a stationary turret.
Both utilize #GodotEngine recent IK feature improvements. The spiders move along the nav mesh and the legs animate procedurally.
Should I have them walk on walls too?
@StayAtHomeDev I really want the wider industry to adopt Godot the same way they did Unity 15 years ago. Not sure even Slay the Spire 2 is enough to make that happen though. They got all these little nitpicks & they have no idea what they're missing.
