Canada's Prime Minister is being asked to sell his investments because parliament can't figure out if he's governing Canada or protecting his own financial interests in China. On April 25, 2026, Canada's Standing Committee on Ethics tabled a 79-page report recommending that Prime Minister Mark Carney, and all future prime ministers, be required to fully divest their investments within 60 days of taking office. The central finding is blunt: blind trusts, the arrangement Carney currently uses to hold his substantial stake in Brookfield Corporation, the global investment giant he helped lead before entering politics, are not sufficient to prevent conflicts of interest at the highest level of government. The China dimension of this story is what makes it serious beyond standard political ethics debates. Testimony before the committee revealed that while Carney served as an economic advisor to former Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, he traveled to Beijing in October 2024 and met with Beijing Mayor Yin Yong, a senior Chinese Communist Party official, on the sidelines of a financial forum. The CCP's own official readout of that meeting stated that Carney highlighted Brookfield's "keen interest in seizing development opportunities in China" and deepening cooperation in green finance, infrastructure investment, and fund management. Six weeks after that meeting, Brookfield secured a $276 million loan from the Bank of China, collateralized against Brookfield's Shanghai real estate holdings, which had fallen sharply in value. Carney announced his candidacy for Liberal Party leadership roughly three months later. The committee also heard testimony that Brookfield operates investment funds worth approximately $25 billion registered in Bermuda, and uses subsidiaries in tax havens and trust structures across multiple jurisdictions. When asked directly whether those same structures could shield a public office holder's financial interests from scrutiny under Canada's ethics laws, an independent tax accountability researcher testified with one word: "Absolutely." The Conflict of Interest Commissioner confirmed that Carney's assets can continue to grow in value while he leads Canada, and that decisions he makes as Prime Minister affecting companies in his blind trust could directly benefit him financially. Neither administrator of his ethics screen knows the specific assets inside the fund tied to his bonus pay, potentially worth tens of millions of dollars. Carney signed a strategic partnership with Beijing in January 2026, positioning China as Canada's key economic alternative in a shifting global order. He did this while holding undisclosed financial interests in a company that had just secured a nine-figure Chinese state bank loan and whose senior leadership had been explicitly encouraged by a CCP official to "seize opportunities" in China. Parliament's ethics watchdog is now asking whether Canada's Prime Minister is making decisions for Canadians or for Brookfield. The fact that the question cannot currently be answered with certainty is itself the answer. #Canada #Carney #Brookfield #China #CCP #Ethics #ConflictOfInterest #CanadianPolitics #Transparency #Geopolitics

China owns Canada’s ONLY antimony mine. And shut it down. Antimony is in every bullet, every missile, every night-vision system. No army on earth can fight a day without it. China bought the Beaver Brook mine in Newfoundland for $29.5 million. Shuttered it in 2023. One year later, Beijing banned antimony exports to the US military. Prices went from $5,900/tonne to nearly $60,000. This mine could produce 5% of global supply. Instead it sits idle under Chinese state control, an hour from a Canadian military base designated for F-35s. The US launched a $10 billion critical minerals reserve. Signed 11 bilateral deals. Canada signed zero. Carney calls China a “strategic partner.” China is using our own resources as a weapon against the West.

Dear men: I love your masculinity. Society needs it. In fact, it’s such an important quality of yours, that we were designed exactly this way to benefit from our complimentary traits. Men and women work together like puzzle pieces. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise… we need you. And don’t take anybody who puts the word “sphere” at the end of word—to try and make it sound like they’re making a profound and intelligent statement—seriously. Especially when the only people creating anything “toxic” about who you are, are the ones trying to change you and twist you into a shape that goes against your very nature and being. In case you haven’t heard it enough and are overwhelmed by constantly being bullied, simply because you exist, I see you. I hear you. I love you.
Ryan Gerritsen🇨🇦🇳🇱@ryangerritsen

Trudeau was in Melbourne Australia yesterday giving a speech on how masculinity is toxic. He claimed to be worried about the rise of the “manosphere” & its growing influence on young men. Who the hell wants to listen to this guys nonsense? Wow.

@Stumper21 @GenEricnutz @CanadaMom73 I must agree with you. Every libtard I speak with is oblivious and doesn't believe their government would do the things they are actually doing. Even when I prove it to them.

I see the same in my community. People who go to church and should know better .. continue to vote for the problems we all face. I usually find these people are Hypocrites. They are pro immigration until the house next to them is for sale and they start panicking when brown people are viewing it.

@EricRStPierre All of this stems from a lack of free press. Normies watch CBC and hear that their biggest problem is the size of Trump's hands and the global boiling.

The Carney Files 🇨🇦| Sourced
Nine years later, in 2009, Same year Carney became governor of the Bank of Canada, two men created an organization to put this into practice for Canada. Dominic Barton — the Global Managing Director of **McKinsey & Company** (the most powerful consulting firm in the world). Mark Wiseman — the head of the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, managing the retirement savings of every working Canadian. Together they co-founded the "Laurier Project" which was later renamed to "Century Initiative." The goal: grow Canada's population to 100 million people by the year 2100. That means more than doubling the population.

Carney stated it was a privilege to "work with Paul Martin when he balanced the books " for the Federal budget of 1998 but Carney didn't join the Canada's Department of Finance until 2004, six years later. He was a student at Oxford in 1998.

I have zero respect for the cretinous cowards who insist that everyone should keep their head down and go along with nonsense and injustice, otherwise they deserve what happens to them. This is the type of cowardice that has ruined Canada.

@owlsnation @hardyrenos @CanadaMom73 The “ in general ” is important. There’s awful people from everywhere. When dealing with the public it’s inevitable you’ll meet some of them eventually. I’ve been in tourism for 40 years. US people, in general, are definitely friendlier. My worst guests were also from the US 🤷🏼‍♂️

@Stumper21 @hardyrenos @CanadaMom73 Long time small biz guy, very "in tune" with service to, and dealing with, the public. My dad pointed that out 40 yrs ago "matter of factly" (before people lost their minds over it). 🇺🇸's are warmer, friendlier, more helpful....in general, when serving you, or serving them. Fact.

💔 An 80-year-old grandmother, terrified in her own home, stood in a Winnipeg courtroom begging for a peace bond to protect herself from her neighbour. The Justice of the Peace said: “Try mediation first.” Less than 48 hours later, Gladys Bellamy was murdered. The man she feared: 74 year old Jose Francisco Raulino has now been charged with 2nd degree murder. Three women on the same floor sought protection that day. The justice system told them to “talk it out.” This is Canada’s Liberal run broken justice system in action: Backlogs. Excuses. Vulnerable seniors left victimized or dead. How many more grandmothers must be slaughtered before heads roll and real change happens? RIP Gladys Bellamy. This is unforgivable. ⚖️ 🇨🇦 #JusticeForGladys #BrokenJusticeCanada

The problem is libtards! They are hateful horrible people. Truly a disease on both our countries and the world. This is what we need…
