.@bfhermann My daughter, a surgical resident, spent 5 days in ICU after a suicide attempt. Our experience was published in @NEJM in Feb 2023 “Looking After Our Own” Physician suicide rate is twice the general population. My conclusion is our culture is partly to blame.

I also believe a woman doesn't need any excuse for her physical appearance and owes no explanation. But I wanted to take the opportunity to advocate for self love and acceptance of the skin you're in. Like every other women/person, some days I feel confident and good as hell, and others I want to put a bag over my head.”

Or they could just reduce the cost for all applicants. No medical student should be paying thousands of dollars to apply for a job. The majority of us live on loans it’s honestly shameful the cost of applications.

My parents were visiting and they went to lunch while I was working and met a couple with a newborn. After talking to each other, they recognized my parents last name and realized I was the #obgyn intern who delivered their baby just days before!

Do you say "ee-clamp-see-uh" or "ee-clamp-sha" because I feel like one of those is correct, and the second one is wrong
