WTH is this tether talking about? Juneteenth has nothing to do with Brazil or Haiti. And no, 99% of Black Americans won’t be watching that game on Juneteenth 🤦🏾‍♂️

It was great joining Njideka Akunyili Crosby — a gifted Nigerian-born, Los Angeles-based artist — to unveil our first portrait together. This piece reflects so many chapters of Michelle and my story, and we’re thrilled that it will be on display in the Hope and Change lobby at the Obama Presidential Center starting this Juneteenth.

Jeff Metcalf is a prime example of how people become racist Black people need to realize that we are being judged by the content of our character We have the shittiest character in the world we are the main reason for why people hate us

@YuckW0rld Melo went to an opposing teams tent and was asked to leave multiple times. He could have been the bigger person and walked away from the opposing teams tent he was in. And maybe not instantly stab someone when pushed.

Here is the side of the “Watermelon Felon” comments made by Austin Metcalf’s dad after MANY MONTHS of him telling people this is not about race. He tried to handle things with grace for MONTHS while receiving death threats, you name it… Was he wrong? Or was he pushed to break?

🪽NEW: Jeff Metcalf gets emotional while discussing his son Austin😢🙏 “Austin was an outstanding young man who I’m going to miss for the rest of my life … He was a leader. He was a Christian. He knew God … he always inspired and helped and encouraged … I just miss him.”

I can understand Austin Metcalf's father is grieving, but why is he being racist all Black people? "Black people can't read." "Black people are so unintelligent they can't fill a form correctly." "75% of Black children don't have fathers."

@Heal_within96 We're tired of your shit. We've extended the olive branch for decades. Yes, slavery and jim crow was bad, we get it, but it has nothing to do with modern day reality. we bought into the BLM shit, gave you jobs and money you didn't deserve, and everything got worse. Fix yo shit.

"KARMELO, YOU WERE WRONG." As some continue to blame Austin Metcalf for what happened, Janeshia Adams-Ginyard is pushing back. "It was not Austin's fault." "We cannot sit up there and blame Austin for his death."

A young man lost his life. A family buried a son. Parents are living every mother’s and father’s worst nightmare. And somehow, in the middle of that grief, there were people celebrating. Not demanding justice. Not debating facts. Celebrating. “We glad Austin dead.” Think about how broken a person has to be to say something like that. That isn’t compassion. That isn’t activism. That isn’t justice. It’s democrat we cruelty. And here’s the part that infuriates me most: a handful of loud, ignorant people get on social media and suddenly the media acts like they represent millions of Americans. They don’t represent Black America. They don’t represent decency. They don’t represent the overwhelming majority of normal people who understand that when a young life is lost, the proper response is grief, not Democrats celebration. What we’re witnessing is not courage. It’s moral decay. Because when a society starts applauding tragedy, mocking grieving families, and treating human suffering like entertainment, we’ve crossed a line that has nothing to do with race, politics, or ideology. It’s a question of basic humanity. How did we get to the point where some people can watch a family suffer and respond with applause? That’s what “we” talking about today. #AStoneGroove #SilentMajoritySpeaks
