This is a N100M portfolio by @compoundinnaira. She (someone said she is a she, Chief, if I got it wrong I apologise 🙏) said she never invested N1m at once in her 6 years plus investment journey on the NGX. Just consistent contributions to solid companies providing solid solutions. This year she received dividends from GTCO alone worth about 1.4m. But she didn't get there immediately. It was built over time. You don't have to save crazy money to invest. Build your emergency fund and start investing gradually. Over the years you will not recognise where you have come from. We keep learning, we keep growing!

5. Buying a US individual stock. If you foray into the US stock market, you are probably better using index funds or etfs tracking the entire market or a sector of the market than picking individual stocks. Warren Buffet said this. I knew this so my US strategy involved buying S&P 500 etf VOO, but the one time I bought an individual stock during its IPO due to FOMO, I was burnt badly. Lesson? If you are into the US stock market, use index funds or Etfs unless you have a strong reason to pick a stock

Why is it that when most Nigerian do test in the hospital and you tell them the result is normal, they get sad? Like, guy, because you spend money, you want to find one sickness by all means?

I think I need to remind y'all that I am a Chartered Accountant (ICAN)... okay, back to what I wanted to tweet. Some people underestimate the power of compounding. You don't have to wait until you have millions to start investing. That 20k, 50k, you have. Please start with it. And continue to increase the amount as your income increases. That is the way to go.

Two pharma stocks with two different stories. FIDSON Revenue up 55% YoY. Profit after tax jumped 131%. MAYBAKER P/E ratio of 14.6x. Highest net profit margin in the sector at 11.3%. One is getting the attention. The other may still be undervalued. You know what to do.
