Some of these people suffered greatly for their support for Trump over the years. And many of them are suffering greatly now for their criticism. It is very easy to say “they are irrelevant, racist, antisemites, shills, sell-outs”, or whatever the trope is to disregard the person without addressing the position. At what point do you begin to entertain the possibility that when the criticism is so consistent and so broad, you might have to address the substance instead of attacking the individual?
