Eden prairie, but back by purgatory creek (close to Minnetonka and Chan). Love the area, still easy to get downtown, great biking/walking trails, school districts, and a lot to do around the area. There’s also a nearby Costco so that’s a plus if you’re into that. I’m also in no way biased about the location.

Hypothetically speaking… If you knew someone who was looking to move to the Minneapolis area this summer/fall, what areas/suburbs/etc. would you recommend for buying a house? Again, hypothetically speaking.

@HawkerZeroe @random49108 @LevAkabas Right, you act like you wouldn’t care if you were in their shoes. I’ll put it this way, when your team ends up paying a supermax to a mid star you’ll be wishing they never made that 2nd team all nba they should’ve never made.

@random49108 @LevAkabas Fine, but missing all nba awards literally hurts their wallet. Not to mention you get undeserving guys now eligible for supermax extensions and what not. It’s not about MVP, it’s about how impactful making or not making an all defense or all nba team is

@LevAkabas You shouldn’t win MVP if you miss over 20% of the season and i don’t think that should be a controversial take.

@PerryScott6770 I actually agree. I think with him playing the day before along with Utah not having a functional big, it was an opportunity to give TJ extended run. I’d be shocked if we didn’t see Beringer in the coming games with Ant’s 36 minutes open for redistribution.

@TimGarrisonMN Would have been nice to have Finch actually play Joan with the top 8 guys. I'm sure they were basically using the game in the 2nd half as a practice, but would be nice to see him get some run. I guess he decided it was better to see what TJ brought in case Ant is out longer tho

Thought he had some nice plays too. Yes, you’d like to see more production with Ant out, but what got TJ yanked from the rotation was defense. Hoping the offense can come back to him and he can’t string together a few good games here. At 25 years old, he’s running out of runway to prove it.

Chris Finch on the Wolves players tonight “The best to me was Terrence, I thought his energy was awesome, like I thought he made a ton of hustle plays, defensive rotation was good, coverages, I was realy pleased with how he guarded”

It forsure will, in all honesty… there’s a massive drop off around 25. I think it’s stacked with lottery level talent till around 21 and then there’s a few older players that will be impactful before it pretty much becomes a 2nd round grade crapshoot around 25. The hope is someone makes an odd ball pick or two like Yang Hansen that cause someone who shouldn’t be at 26-30 to be there.

@TimGarrisonMN They are such a good team that it probably won’t change much but is it bad that selfishly this may help the wolves pick this upcoming draft? Hopefully he’s healthy by playoffs.

@littyc91 Yeah, none of them really have grasped an opportunity with us. When you get drafted to a contender you kinda have to be ready for your moment.

@TimGarrisonMN For sure. I just don’t think 25 is too old. Would probably benefit most of our young guys getting traded out of here. Guys like Lenny who would never touch court here can at least show they are competent role players on lower tier teams.

@littyc91 The reason I think the runway is running short is because he’s not a young player. He’s young only in terms of his career.

@TimGarrisonMN I don’t think he’s running out of time at all after 2 seasons. He’s on a loaded team that doesn’t prioritize development mins for young players.

The Pelicans are going to play spoiler quite a bit these last few weeks. With Dejounte Murray back, and the team at full strength, they have a ton of individually good players on that team. If you don’t put em down early, they can give you trouble. Still don’t think they’re anything more of a play in caliber team, and that’s probably generous, but that’s a lot higher quality than their record would indicate.

@nighthawksrn @JohnnyRayderx I actually think it is. When you involve Rudy he plays at a higher level. You need to reward your big for the dirty work. I value what Ayo brings as an outlet and I value the fact that he is more reliable in a PG role so you can pull Ant off ball some and still run pin downs.

@TimGarrisonMN @JohnnyRayderx It’s not imperative on the offensive end that Rudy gets touches honestly 62% usage is Ant & Julius so space is imperative play-off time, Tim it really doesn’t matter who starts with Ant their both real good players in Donte & Ayo and changing the starting lineup is way premature.

@JohnnyRayderx @nighthawksrn Right but the Wolves need someone who can help keep the defense’s coverage honest. Spacing isn’t all about shooting they also need someone to get Rudy consistently involved to work in vertical spacing.

@TimGarrisonMN @nighthawksrn A step or two is enough to disrupt an offense, it actually put more stress on the offense. There’s a difference between high volume and low volume shooters. There’s defense is not going out to guard a player who shoot a couple of 3s a game, especially ones who can blow by them.

That would be true if Ayo wasn’t also a good shooter. They have to respect both. Sure, it might pull back a defender a step or two, but it’s also going to put more stress on the defense in terms of what they can throw at Ant if you have someone that can punish a closeout and finish at the rim in addition to catch and shoot looks.

@TimGarrisonMN @nighthawksrn You never played basketball, have you? DDV is high volume 3 pt shooters and always a treat to put up a 3. Ayo is low volume 3 pt shooter, but always a treat to drive. Because Ayo is a treat to drive, the defender has to play off him. However the defender has to come out to DDV

@JohnnyRayderx @nighthawksrn So Ayo wouldn’t space the floor? Ant is a better shooter than Donte, especially as a movement shooter. Not to mention Ayo is shooting 40% from deep and teams have to respect his drive. You’re nuts if you think spacing would be worse with Ayo. It would be the same if not better.

@TimGarrisonMN @nighthawksrn Last time I checked, Ant is having his best season as a pro. That’s partly due to Donte creating space and stretching the defense. And yes, there is chemistry, being 15 games over .500 in the tough western conference is nothing to sneeze at.
