With this weeks Supreme Court decisions, this is the government the Founders warned us about. For nearly 20 years I’ve fought this fight. 2007: Sued Barack Obama for not being a natural born citizen. Lost. 2019: Sued Kamala Harris. Lost on standing. 2023: Sued Kamala Harris again. Lost again. I’ve studied the Founders’ debates and letters. Their intent was clear. Yesterday’s Supreme Court birthright citizenship ruling was asinine. Totally unconstitutional. Combined with their mail-in ballot decision, I’m calling it now: Republicans will never win another election. In January 2027, Democrats retake the Senate and House. Game plan: • Impeach Trump (lame duck) • Stack the Supreme Court • Dismantle the Electoral College And worst of all? Every “anchor baby” becomes a natural born citizen eligible to be President. Supreme Court got this one WRONG. Birthright citizenship is the dumbest loophole in American history. A baby born on U.S. soil doesn’t magically become a citizen any more than being born in a Toys “R” Us makes you a plastic action figure. Your parents cheated the system to get here? Citizenship is not a BULK offer to be given without due diligence. American citizenship MUST be a GOLD standard of citizenship. Our passport should be a COVETED, highly-regarded passport that other countries recognize as a document that is carefully disseminated to carefully vetted individuals. Today’s decision regarding birthright citizenship is a travesty. The Fourteenth Amendment was written to overturn Dred Scott and guarantee citizenship to freed slaves—not to create automatic citizenship for the children of those who violate our immigration laws or are only temporarily in the United States. This decision will only invite further exploitation of our immigration system. The Court adopted an interpretation that departs from the original meaning of the Constitution and incentivizes illegal immigration. Congress retains the authority to clarify federal law, and it should act immediately to restore the original meaning of the Citizenship Clause and protect the integrity of American citizenship.
