@espekadaengrish @___ZELIG___ @ProvisionistP I was about to make that point too. The transgression leading to condemnation doesn't need to mean we are guilty of Adam's sin. Rather, it can mean, as is demonstrated by vs. 12, that Adam's sin first brought sin into the world. His sin led to our condemnation by our own sins.

The idea that people were "constituted sinners" cannot be understood the way you do because its nonsense. One person's sin cannot make another person sinful because sin is a reference to the action of the individual. Sin is not a substance you can move around. Paul is simply noting that sin entered the world through Adam. Nowhere does he say we are guilty of Adams sin.

@DrFrankTurek It depends on the situation. If you mean morally, then no. Pastors should be held to higher standards because they are teachers of the truth. But when it comes to properly running the country and general political matters, of course politicians ought to have a higher standard.

@1984_nate It's becoming concerning to me how many people do not seem to understand what the basic gospel message is. The gospel is not your atonement theory or soteriological theory.🤦‍♂️

@___ZELIG___ @espekadaengrish @ProvisionistP Guilt and having to deal with the consequences of Adam's sin are two different things. Also note how death spread to all people "because all sinned". Sure, the first appearance of sin and death on earth came through Adam, but that does not mean we are guilty of his sin.

@espekadaengrish @ProvisionistP Dude, do you even read your Bible? It is all over the place where it sasy because of Adam's choice we are guilty. Here is Paul saying exactly that:

@michaeljknowles There is something about the adventure of exploring the wilderness that is the cosmos. Mankind was made to explore and to be challenged by the extraordinary reality that God placed us in. I hope this brings back the American drive to do what no one has done before. MSGA!

Ways to piss off the women of @TheView: 1. Get married. 2. Have kids. 3. Tell other people they should experience the joy of getting married and having kids. That’s it. That’s the tweet.

@abc098788 @TheApe_Theist @darwintojesus Though I tend to be pretty cautious about claims of speaking in tongues, as a Christian I at least think it happened in the time of Paul when he wrote his letters in the New Testament. I am fairly dubious about videos that show crazy cases of it though.

@abc098788 @TheApe_Theist @darwintojesus Who said speaking in tongues is extreme? Sure there may be abuse of it in some churches but I don’t see an issue with it in and of itself. But that behavior in the video is concerning. So are things like “holy laughter”.

@darwintojesus Sure atheists have all kinds of problems, but the kind of behavior exhibited in this video is a problem for theists. It’s cool to admit when there are challenges with your worldview. Take the hit. Then later when you throw a punch, it hits harder, and it means more.

@LilaGraceRose Something has to be done. We need to do something to combat this legislation, including the laws that have been passed in some of the states in our own country.
