Completely free. Clothes, stationary, utensils, medicine, Even toothpaste and soap. Taking about medine we didn’t have running water. Rural area and the water project took more than 6 years. So we always had fungal infections due to bad water and we were provided anti fungal soaps and lotions to use daily . Yuck Every body were poor but some were so poor they cried when we had vacations because they didn’t have food. We had 2 months summer and 1 month winter break. We were too young to understand the impact but I wish they had something for those who can’t afford to go home in the vacations. Think about it, I fucking came a long way I also wish there was a better transition into college I studied in a govt run free Engg college but travel, hostel still cost some money. We had many brilliant student who couldn’t study further. What a loss of resources Mainly because some areas are a lot more remote than the others. And teacher didn’t want to join etc. Anyway, it is a great experiment and could transform India just by scaling it to cover any children who can’t afford private school

Primarily targeted at talented children from rural India. Free education, boarding, lodging, books, uniforms, and activities. Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is probably one of the most successful social mobility experiments India has ever run. The idea was simple: Find talented children from rural India and give them the kind of environment normally available only to a small privileged group. I don’t know the current situation of Navodaya, but in the 1990s and early 2000s, it was the IIT of schools for rural India. A lot of students from Navodaya made it to IIT without any coaching. Better teachers, better peers, better exposure, and national-level competition. One of the most underrated investments a country can make is high-quality education at an early age.

What more could you ask for in a ₹12 lakh vehicle? It takes you everywhere highways, city roads, and now even supports a rooftop tent setup with an awning. Absolutely love seeing people take their Jimnys to places like this and make the most of them. And as I always say, a Thar might take you to the destination, but a Jimny makes sure you get back home safely. The tent setup looks fantastic! 😍👌🏻

Unpopular Opinion: I am almost always wearing a black T shirt with a round neck. Has to be cotton. Tried many brands including the ones that keep popping up on Insta and other SM spaces. My absolute fav is #2714 from @Jockey . When I am not in black, it could be Navy blue. Nothing else will do. Any brands that have a better feel or fit?
