@Simpsonsgetit @hydrothemc He was not born on a reservation; he spent a good portion of his youth on the reservation because his mother taught there. I have Whiter DNA than he has Native American DNA. While he joined the Navy reserves he never fought in WWII. He is resting in his legacy.

Fatal OIS of Crime Spree Suspect Sparks Family Controversy Donald Taylor, 32, went on a violent crime spree from July 30 to August 2, 2025: he stole a gun, pointed one at someone in a Miramar store, shot a person and left him in critical condition, robbed a Dollar General at gunpoint, and slid over a Walgreens counter to steal cash. On August 3, Hollywood Police located him in Miramar. Officers say he was armed, refused commands, and was fatally shot; a gun was recovered. Five months later, Taylor’s family released surveillance footage showing him walking away from officers with hands raised and visible (no gun drawn) before falling. Police have not released bodycam footage or identified the officer. The investigation is ongoing.

Per the decision, police may use deadly force if the suspect poses an imminent threat of death or serious physical injury. Flight alone is not justification for deadly force if they are not an immediate threat.

@Thefactsdude Nothing of what you said is relevant. Look up Tennessee v. Garner before you respond again. Someone that has been suspected of felony crimes and is deemed a threat to the public, can be lawfully stopped by police with deadly force. Full stop, no conviction necessary.
