Public transport continues to deteriorate at a very high rate. Becoming worse than the previous day. Public anger is growing fast, and president @WilliamsRuto needs to act before things get worse. What we have is not a public transport, its mess, chaos, social terror

In the 2000s, Loni Willison was a stunning fitness model living the dream. She married a Baywatch actor, then everything imploded. Divorced after 2 years, she was fired from her job, had a mental breakdown, and became a full blown meth addict. By 2016, she was homeless on Venice Beach, scavenging trash, teeth rotted out, looking like a completely different person. She rejects all help: “I don’t want help from anyone” Loni insists. From magazine covers to dumpster diving in under a decade.

Elections are WON or LOST at voter registration. And The Tyranny of SMALL Numbers is happening. Turkana has the highest registration at 21%, and Nyandarua has the LOWEST at 4%. Rift Valley has registered 29% of the total. This is twice Kikuyus and Kambas. Opposition is ASLEEP!

The most important thing is respect, irrespective of what is what..., kambas and somalis have coexisted since eternity - the situation on Mwingi needs sober minds to resolve. MWINGI is itself named after the first entreprenuer who founded the town - Farah Mwingi. [Mwingi I belief is a somali name] Anyway, see if this fits your faschion taste sanalist.co.ke/red-ribbed-kni…

This rogue matatu operating along kiambu road is A RED FLAG - Dangerously driven by driver high on drugs, extreme hooliganism high on drugs, its a mobile den of thugs and drugs. Not a psv vehicle. DELIRIUM KDV 940c - this IG kanja @IG_NPS @PoliceKE Kiambu road @ntsa_kenya take notice of it. This is endless time reporting this rogue matatu. The driver, the sacco and the owner need to take resiponsibility. Its not just traffic impunity, its purely criminal. Ng’anya culture is here to stay. We’re heading back to court, and I will personally cover all legal fees as we appeal the ruling. This is an industry that drives Nairobi. People travel from all over just to experience matatu culture—the art, the music, the energy.

Though the directive wont be enforced, the culture itself would be progressive if it was practised with respect, consideration to other kenyans - Nganya operators are selfish, almost gangs that everything is merely about them. To them, noise, harassment, drugs, hooliganism, disturbunce of public order, bad behaviour is what is progressive to them. NO SANE country in the world can allow this kind of backwardness. . the package of graffitti, loud music, mod exhaust systems creates a condusive environment of lawlessness, impunity and a dontcare attitude.. PSV is for psv and must have discplined culture - for impunity, they can take it to the parks...and other such places using private cars. @ntsa_kenya @InteriorKE @IG_NPS @PoliceKE @kipmurkomen @chirchir_davis @WilliamsRuto

Graffiti is beautiful art, and the High Court ruling declaring graffiti on matatus illegal is backward, retrogressive, and lacks basic common sense. A matatu is not a judge’s car or a courtroom that must appear drab and dull. As a creative who has mentored graffiti artists since 2010, I have helped a number of them to secure opportunities to travel the world and showcase their work. Kenyan graffiti artists are among the best in our continent. They have created beautiful murals at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, the Central Bank of Kenya, Safaricom offices in Nairobi, and many other respected establishments. In a country where millions of Kenyans have no jobs, this ruling will only result in creating more unemployment, kill an entire creative ecosystem, increase police harassment, and erase the beauty of our matatus, which has been acclaimed globally. The only thing the government does very well is introduce rules and regulations that make it harder for Kenyans to work. It suppresses our creativity because it hates to see us building anything outside of its control. Kenyan leaders and administrators are incapable of creating anything. They only know how to steal and use their positions to award themselves lucrative government tenders. The beautiful graffiti designs on our matatus have evolved into a culture - one that supports many people to earn an honest livelihood. The government has no business interfering with them as they harm no one. In fact, graffiti on matatus is akin to mobile advertising. Is the government going to outlaw that as well? This ruling must be appealed immediately and common sense must prevail. All nganyas should pick a day and do a tour around Nairobi to make a statement that graffiti is beautiful and should not be declared illegal. I support graffiti in matatus, and when l take power those ugly pillars of the expressway (with dead plants) will have beautiful graffiti painted on them. The only thing I would encourage graffiti artists to do is start painting the faces and stories of Kenyan and African heroes.

Consolata Githinji was a student from a very humble background. Yet somehow, she lived a life that very few can afford. One weekend she would be in Malindi, the next in Zanzibar, Diani or Kisumu, and dining in Nairobi’s posh hotels, among other places. Some time back, I remember vividly that Shaffie Weru was fired from Homeboyz Radio for advising ladies to love themselves, because not every man is mentally stable. He gave a very good example,, if someone facilitates your transport from Thika to Naivasha, why would you expect that he won’t demand something in return? Most of the time you’ll meet a sane person and nothing happens, but if he is unstable or a little tipsy, he can do anything to you. Anyway, we are not justifying gender-based violence, but ladies need to love themselves and be careful. RIP Connie.

Connie did not travel all the way from Murang’a to Nairobi to take her own life. I believe Tony Odhiambo pushed her or did something to her. At the moment, the DCI does not appear to have a strong case against him, and he could walk free, just like Fatxo did. Connie was meeting Tony for the first time. It is possible that he tried to force himself on her. From the CCTV footage, there seemed to be an altercation between them before a security officer intervened. There may be other girls out there who have been lured by this man in a similar way. If so, they should come forward and help build a stronger case against him.

Folks may not be happy with Section 45 of the 2010 Constitution of Kenya on family and marriage. Article 45 (2) explicitly PERMITS marriage by persons of the opposite sex, or gender, BUT nowhere does Article 45 explicitly PROHIBIT same-sex marriages or marriage by persons of the same gender. If the drafters intended to prohibit same sex marriages, they failed to so state in clear and unambiguous language. The Constitution appears to have left that issue for interpretation by the courts, or legislation.
