A brave member of the public rescued a dog that was tied to a heavy rock and was drowning in the River Trent this morning. Officers are appealing for information from anyone who saw the incident involving the Belgian Shepherd, near Long Lane, Farndon, at around 8.45am today.

Thinking of all our colleagues on the other side of the world fighting a fire that’s literally engulfing their country. ❤️

@UKCopHumour It hurt us, in many ways

Some people say @UKFireHumour deserve higher wages. Apparently a poll was taken... and most of them fell through a hole in the floor.

It’s times like this that I feel so privileged to live in a country with the worlds best police force. Always working so quickly to keep us safe. So proud of my brother and his colleagues in the met. Hoping that no innocent people have been hurt at London Bridge today.
