Twenty years ago today, Uncommon Grounds on South Park St. opened its doors. THANK YOU to our amazing customers and staff who have kept us around for all these years. We've loved being a part of this community and look forward to being a part of it for many years to come.

Good news for the caffeine deprived: Power is restored at 1030 South Park St and we’re ready to serve. Public Gardens will remain closed for Sunday. Hope everyone weathered the storm ok!

2023 Season at Public Gardens: Take 2 Happy to announce that we are once again open in the Public Gardens after the most recent flood. Still waiting on some equipment to be replaced, & exterior deck work slated for next week!For now, please do come in, we’d love to see you

Please note our location in @HfxPublicGarden is closed due to flooding from yesterday’s rain. This is the third flood in the building since reopening only a month ago. We are awaiting a plan from @hfxgov to address this issue.

Today’s the day - we’re giving away all of our ice cream and raising funds for the Friends of the Public Gardens. Our shop closed early for the season due to an arson on September 15, but we know that it’s in times like this that community counts. #HalifaxNoise

Fyi, while we continue to operate on reduced hours (8am-4pm) we are welcoming guests to dine in again. Capacity limits, social distancing, and masking rules apply.
