Prior to this war, our security guarantees stabilized the GCC & ensured that oil/commerce flowed freely through the straight of Hormuz. We offered stability, therefore we had power. This war has shattered that stability, spiked oil prices & will likely harm the petrodollar. Now we bring chaos & are losing power.
